i saw genie on the view. on the one hand she said the show has not approached her about a return & she thinks it was never their plan to have her return long term.......just a tribute to the anniversary. she said she would like to return but in the next breath said she has no interest in doing a soap. she'd rather do other projects.

truthfully i'm fine w/laura not returning hate the whole luke/laura/supercouple thing......just can't forget the relationship is predicated on a rape. i don't like luke at all but find him more tolerable w/tracy. they are a good match.

the only place I see for Laura is as a mother whose children need her desperately. But I would hate to see her reduced to that.
