***SNOW***

It's coming down so fast and furious I can't believe it! I'm so glad that we don't have to leave the house today because it's supposed to keep up until 6 p.m. and the city has said they will not be sending out ploughs until later in the day.

My son tried taking his family, on foot, to church at 9 this morning and got only around the corner before giving up and turning around. He said the footprints they made leaving were gone already!

Did the snow get to you kids too? This is some storm!!!

we got snow overnight, not too bad. We are sposed to get some kind of sleet today though. They cancelled church so I am going to lunch with a couple of the ladies from our young adult class. I am so bored its rediculous.

The guy across the street is shoveling. I am tempted to go ask him to do mine. I may have to go out and do a little before it freezes and I cant anymore.

Ted was out shoveling at 8:30 a.m. and now you can't even tell he did a thing. And now we have thunder. Crazy!

Tony tried taking his family, on foot, to church for the 9 o'clock service and had to turn around because the wind was way too much for Vanessa on her little sled. This is a major, major storm here. Ugh. The church at the end of our street has nobody there at all, so I assume it cancelled services today too.

Shelly, be careful!

well I made it back home in one piece. Stopped off at the video store so I have something to do the rest of the day. I didn't bother shoveling and managed to make it in and out of my driveway. Thank heavens for four wheel drive. Anyways, I am off to heat up some hot cocoa and watch a movie.

We got it here, about 5 inches, but we were out with friends who live closer to the city and they got at least 9. We drove home after midnight and the roads were terrible!

But it was a fun night out

We received about six inches here, before it turned to sleet and freezing rain.... I was outside at 6 am, shoveling before it turned over, so I have actually stayed ahead of the storm. I have a good 20 inches of the stuff here in my yard, after the storm that we received on Thursday.

Hey Tess, wow you have been missed. So glad you made it back okay. I figure you got about as much snow as we did down here. I havent shoveled much but I can get in and out of the driveway so oh well.

Still coming down here. We've shovelled three times already but then, of course, the ploughs came along and made that big bank at the end of the driveway. Gah.
