soldier watches birth from Iraq


This is from the hospital where my husband works, there's a link in there somewhere!

Please check below for media coverage of a video conference Tuesday that allowed a Marine sergeant in Iraq to watch the birth of his son here at Edward Hospital! The story was on the front page of The Naperville Sun and Daily Herald and the front page of the Chicago Tribunes Metro section. Note: The Daily Herald has a video version of the story via this link:

The mom was also interviewed this morning on 95.9 FM.
And, a special thanks to the nursing staff in Labor & Delivery (especially Sandy Bumber), Dr. Jennifer Dunn and the ISS team for all of their help and support in making the video conference possible for the Chevalier family and working with the reporters and photographers who were covering the story!
