Hey guys, can you believe that tomorrow is the big day? I can't. Though we are done with shopping, my sister still has a little left to wrap but not a lot. And wrapping doesn't take too long. I don't know what we have planned for today but I can tell you that we will not venture anywhere near a Walmart or a mall.
Anyways, since I didnt get to the Sunday thread yesterday I thought I would pop in here and comment on whatever from over there.
Jojo I am so happy that you and Jackson are on your own. YAH...and you were on the computer does that mean you have access now?
Kae I hope that the insurance doesn't jerk you around. And Tina I hope that your little one feels better. Why do kids always seem to get sick at Christmas time.
Zach seems way better today, I hope he is able to eat a little. I have some minor cleaning to do. Laundry. That's about it. We go visit family this evening.
I feel almost sad about Christmas being this close, because then it's over before you know it! Isn't that crazy. It's not even here and I'm sad that it will be over!
Don't forget to check out the Norad site. Santa has already visited China and Russia. I'm sure China was quick, hardly any Christians there! haha
I don't think that Santa is only giving to Christians. There are a lot of great kids out there whose parents aren't Christians. You don't have to be a Christian to deserve a good Christmas
I am not sad that Christmas will be over, mainly because I won't see my husband until Friday so frnakly the holiday couldn't be over soon enough. Anything that counts the time faster.
And that rocks Jojo, you have seriously been missed. If I lived by you I would wrap your presents for you, I like to wrap presents. My sister still has a few. I am thinking I will go get the kids a new pair of jammies and let them open them up tonight. Everything else will wait til tomorrow morning. We will spend Christmas in Williamsburg, should be really fun.
I hope all of us enjoy a really wonderful Christmas. It is hard to believe that here we are already!
After our lovely little encounter with the flood downstairs yesterday, we're a little frazzled and tired, but more or less organised. We're going to my parents to set up the Christmas Eve buffet around three, and hope to be back home by 8 tonight because tomorrow is an early day to get that mammoth bird stuffed and into the oven.
Ted just came back home from picking up our Buche de Noel and bought some pate foie gras for $24 for a tiny little amount! Unbelievable!! If he'd called me from the store, I'd have told him to forget it! Geez! It had better be fantastic stuff!
Anyway, have a great one everybody. I'm back in the kitchen for while, then off we go.
Oh and Shelley I think the whole not being Christians is just that they don't celebrate Christmas like if you were to tell this particular Jewish lady's children that Santa was coming you'd get in big trouble lol... she's kinda scroogy though.
thats true Jess. Though sadly a lot of the world celebrates it without a thought for Jesus at all. And that kind of makes me sad.
Anyways, we actually ventured into a shopping mall today and it wasn't bad at all. I was impressed. Though all we had to do was drive through the parking lot at Walmart to have anxiety issues.
I hope that everyone has had a great Christmas Eve...tomorrow should be a fun one.
