(SoapOperaNetwork.com) -- Does a mother always have her child's best interests at heart?
Janet Hubert-Whitten, best known to viewers as Will Smith's on screen aunt Vivian Banks on "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," returns to "One Life to Live" this week as Lisa Williamson.
Huber-Whitten left the show in 1993, following a disagrement with the producers stemming from her unexpected pregnancy. She was replaced in later seasons of the show by Daphene Reid. Since leaving "Fresh Prince," Hubert-Whitten made guest appearances on a number of television programs, including "Gilmore Girls," "Friends," "NYPD Blue," "The Jamie Foxx Show," "The Bernie Mac Show," "Coach," "Dave's World," and "The Weakest Link."
In 2005, she originated the role of Evangeline Williamson's (Renee Elise Goldsberry) mother Lisa on "One Life to Live." After appearing in a handful of episodes, however, the character dissappeared from the canvas. Look for Hubert-Whitten to briefly return to the role on December 26th when Layla and Cristian attempt to persuade Mrs. Williamson not to move Evangeline's comatose body back to the family home.
