The Y&R has been all squirrelly since the preemptions for the holidays and now my time-shift Y&R from Newfoundland at 11 a.m. is the same episode as is seen on CBS at 12:30 p.m. But my local airing at 4:30 p.m. is still a day ahead. I have no idea if his is going to stay the same or go back to the way it has been for years, with cross-Canada day ahead episodes.
But something is definitely screwy because the audio and visual are out of sync from Newfoundland. Shall keep you posted, but for now, there is no morning day ahead.
Anyway, it seems to be all about Gloria and William and her hair-brained schemes to out-wit him. And of course Victor threatening David! Yesterday David took a phone call from someone who was dunning him for a lot of money and David, kind of panic-stricken, said he was in the process of lining it up and would get it to him as soon as possible. A sure sign that he's conning Niki?
thanks kae, I am betting my money that Gloria is going to fall for Jeffrey or William or whichever guy he is. And didn't we say all along that David was up to something. I still maintain the explosion thing was all his fault

Anyway, yes, David is no good, and Victor told Niki that he'd forgive her loan if she got rid of the guy. Will Niki do the only smart thing she's ever done and take Victor up on his offer? And drop that law suit? Nah.
Amelia is back on set now, and she was shown yesterday, so my best guess is that it will be soon. Unlike another soap we know where a heroine has been in a coma for months on end..... .
I'll tune into Y&R on time-shift at 11, but I think Newfoundland is still playing catch-up or something. I might have to see my day ahead at 4:30. Doesn't matter, I'm not going anywhere today. I'm on the sofa with my blankie and glass of water with a bottle of Tylenol beside me. If I get ambitious, I might get up to get a cup of tea later, lol.

they are in the UP in Michigan. The part of Michigan thats not in the hand. Yes we have internet thank goodness. And since the last time we were there they have gotten cable connection instead of dial up so it will be faster too. YAH...
Today's "day ahead" is a repeat - the epi with Cassie's reappearance to Nick and they go back in time to look at how her death affected so many people. Sad and sappy.
This kind of explains why the NTV epis were a day behind as they knew they'd need something to fill in on Tuesday. A banner at the beginning announced that there would be no Y&R on Monday, December 31.
