So how was everyone's weekend? How are our sick people? You guys feeling better yet. I am off for another boring day in Michigan. We are set to leave on Thursday though I think it would make our trip easier to do the 4 hour drive to Wisconsin on Monday that way the rest of the drive will be shorter but Vinnie doesnt think so. So Thursday we will leave and head straight through. Oh joy. That will put us in Chicago at like 2 or 3 just in time for traffic. Oh joy.

Anyways, this house is warm I am tempted to go sit out in the snow just to cool off. Its heating up here though, the snow on the driveway has melted away and you can now see the dirt.

So what is everyone doing tonight. I missed last nights Desperate Housewives so tonight I am staking the tv because my Medium will finally be on tonight. It had a late start in the season so hopefully we will be able to watch the rest of the season without being affected by the strike. YAH...

It's pouring rain here and WARM! Crazy weather, but it is the usual January thaw. We're not going to have any sunshine until Thursday, Blech.

I'm doing much better at about 75% back to normal. I'll feel even better when the garbage truck finally takes all the Christmas trees out of the snow banks in front.

I spent the last three hours reading online newspapers, found an amusing video Bill Gates made of his last day at Microsoft (this coming July) and of course Perez Hilton's hilarious takes on celebrity news. I'll post his link for you in case you've never read his blogs.

Otherwise, it's a quiet day that I don't plan on jazzing up. I still need more R&R to kick the last bits of the virus out.

Shelly, did you ever take any pics of your surrounding up there in Michigan? Would love to see some.

i took tons of pictures from our house in Groton all the way here and have a few of the house. But I have to get onto the other computer to upload them. I am on our laptop and it doesn't have a slot for my chip.

The Perez blogs were pretty amusing. I have never really read his stuff, though I think he has a tv show now. Something like Extra only I suppose a little more smutty. I wont be able to be on the puter much today because Vinnie is trying to install updates on my IL's computers and it takes up a lot of internet. So I will sign off soon, Vinnie is outside putsing on his car I may take a walk out and see whats going on..

I've got Y&R o now and it's a good start, but I can't recap as I have to make Ted a big lunch in half an hour. He has a court session at 7:30 tonight fighting a parking ticket and won't be home until quite late. He wants a cheese and mushroom omelet, then he'll leave for the office. I like it better when he leaves the house early and comes home before 7, but with the new flexible working hours, I never know from one day to the next when he'll be home or downtown. There's something to be said for routines.

I really like routines too, but as a Navy wife I don't think I will ever have one. We will head home on Thursday won't get home until late Friday night and Vinnie has a flight down to GA early as all get out on Sunday morning. Hopefully this time around he won't be gone as long.

I hope Y&R was good, what are your thoughts on Daniel and Heather?

As unlikely a couple as Daniel and Heather may be, I kind of like the idea and it does look like they are going to pair up, doesn't it? She's such a tense little pain and Daniel would be perfect to lighten her up. But they weren't on today. It was lots of Gloria and Jeffery, and I can't stand them!

yeah I saw Heather and Daniel on our today show. They had potential. It seems like Daniel and Amber will end up being this generation of Michael and Phyllis. Just friends, which is refreshing.

I managed to get out of the house and we took a trip to wal mart. It was okay though the fog out there was crazy.
