(SoapOperaNetwork.com) -- Soap star brings "One Life to Live" character to "All My Children."
Soap Opera Network has learned that Michael Easton will make an appearance on "One Life to Live's" sister soap, "All My Children," this February as his "OLTL" character, Det. John McBain.
Unconfirmed speculation is Easton's alter-ego will make a cameo in the storyline involving Jesse's (Darnell Williams) return from the dead.
This will mark Easton's first appearance on "AMC." In 2004, Easton taped scenes with Eden Riegel (Bianca Montgomery) and Alicia Minshew (Kendall Hart) on the set of "AMC" that later appeared on "OLTL" during the infamous two-soap wide "Baby Switch" storyline.
An airdate has yet to be set.
Easton began playing the somber John McBain on "One Life to Live" in October 2003.

I think his cross over will have something to do with Jesse. Since Jesse was with the FBI (I have heard thats why he "died") and John was too. Bet they know each other
I wonder if the writers' strike has made some actors think twice about spreading their wings. I know that a regular pay cheque goes a long way in making decisions like that, non? Maybe ME has changed his mind. I know I would under those circumstances.
I don't understand why any actor would leave a show that is seriously improving in the ratings to go to a show that is continually at the bottom. Makes no sense
and I think if they give this Gigi thing a try it may work
