Hey guys who are also on Facebook, just a note to let you know my Nick is fine. If anyone ever takes a look at his Facebook blog, accessing it form my site, you'd see he wrote that he "was killed". Apparently, it's an Australian colloquialism for hungover. I had no idea.
I called him even though it was 10 past 2 in the morning there, and he is fine. He explained the slang expression. I was not amused. I cried for an hour before pulling myself together. Damn kids.
Holy crap! He should have known better than to scare his family like that! Of course, he probably thinks your just overreacting or something. I swear, I wanna smack him a good one upside his hungover little head!
Thank goodness for Rescue Remedy. It came in very handy this morning.
Damn kids. I have written to Nick several times about his blog on Facebook, told him to clean it up, delete any coarse language, references to drinking etc., because schools and potential employers are now looking at the Facebook and MySpace sites of candidates and use what they read as part of the elimination process. He KNOWS that. He has, for the most part, been pretty good, but the people who post garbage language on his wall.... And then there's the "charming" Australian slang. I just shake my head now. If he has a scrap of sense, he'll take the whole site down once he gets home in 68 days. I hope.
