Lots of Lily and her wardrobe gal with slutty outfits and Devon disapproving. David tells Jill that not only is he now CO-CEO of Jabot, but he and Nicki are getting married too. Jill thinks it's all a bit much for her, seeing all these changes.
JT thinks it's too soon for Victoria to return to work but she insists.
Hope on her death bed with Victor at her side, telling her he loves her, and together they'll tell Victor Jr. that he's the daddy. She's worried the kid will be pissed off at her for lying to her all these years. (Ya think??) Enter the new character, Victor Jr, known as "Vic". Hmm - cute. She tells her son she's dying.
Phyllis asks Nick to forgive his father for the sake of his happiness. Nick says he's already happy.
Uck - Nicki announces to JT and Victoria that she and David are setting a date for their wedding. (How dumb is Nicki these days???)
More dying Hope with her son. Kid doesn't want to accept that it's curtains for his mom. Kind of corny, but very soapy. New kid isn't a great actor, but easy on the eyes.
David plops an envelope of money down on a table at CL for that guy who is dunning him, and he calls him Clark again, asks why he changed his name. He demands David ask Nicki for $250,000 right now. David says she's off limits, leaves in a huff. Jill catches the tail end of the exchange.
Nicki and JT agree Victoria needs to relax for a while and if she does that, Nicki won't rush into marriage to David. After Nicki leaves, Victoria says to JT that no matter what, there will always be a war between her parents and she will be caught in the middle.
And more Hope dying, explaining her fatal condition. Gah. Kid storms out.
Cane turns up at Lily's fashion preview, drools over Lily in a very skimpy outfit. Devon notices, looks annoyed.
David lies to Nicki that he's a bit off because of a bad workout at the gym. Nicki tells him that Victoria isn't ready for her mother to get married again just yet. David shows slight sign of panic.
Swing over to Lily again with Devon and Cane as she says she needs to lose weight. (Could this be an anorexia story coming?) Jill shows up, announces the big Jabot press conference next week. Kiss Lily and Cane.
Victor asks Vic Jr. to sit down in Hope's kitchen, makes nice nice. We learn that the kid got a business school scholarship, that business is his passion. (Chip off the old block, huh?)
SOD has a pretty big thing on this Victor/Hope/Vic Jr. thing. Should be interesting. It says that Vic Jr actually recognizes Victor because he went to school for business something or other. Sounds good. And I hope that Jill figures out what is up with David
Jill and Cane express some concern for Lily in modelling as it could be a hard life. Lily obsesses over her "fatness", Devon notices, blames Chloe. They hug.
Back to Nick and Victoria discussing their father and the pressure he's always put on them and how it makes them better parents, knowing what NOT to do. Nick says Victor's love only comes with strings attached.
Vic Jr and Victor again. Morose. Gah. Flashbacks to Hope telling Victor she can't fit into his world. Hope then calls out in pain for her son to come, come now. He dashes back upstairs.
Cane all moony eyed over Lily, asks her out for the evening. Love, love all over the place. Kiss, hug.
Nicki explains to David how vulnerable Victoria is, agrees they'll get married when she and her daughter are both ready. I love you's, hugs. David looks annoyed and panicked but plays the part of caring, sympathetic guy.
Nick, as JT and Phyllis look on, tells Victoria about how Victor at one point almost sacrificed her baby for Victoria's life, but not their mother, how the decision ended up in arbitration. Victoria's mortified.
Hope tells kid that Victor is his father.

Cane, with Lily at Indigo, asks Neil and Karen if they'd like to pull up a chair and join them. Lily is pleased.
Hope, almost dead, asks Vic Jr. to not judge Victor, not hate him, that's all she's asking.
Hilarious!! Gloria with Jeff as he takes a sip of a drink, grabs his throat as if poisoned, eyes bug out, sputters. Gloria smiles, tilts her head.

Yes, I think Jill is twigging to David's secret agenda. She's coming off as a very sharp cookie with her eyes narrowing here and there. It wouldn't surprise me at all if she's already onto him, at least somewhat.
The Victor, Hope and Vic Jr. thing is a bit too morbid for me. I don't like specific diseases on soaps. But it looks like Hope'll be a goner by tomorrow.
