I'm taking it easy today as tomorrow and Friday will be crazy. My day started with a call from a friend who just got back from Nassau, then an e mail from Marilyn from Fiji and another e mail from Mike in LA. The sum total of my productive time today was putting more salt substitute on the patio so the doggies don't slip and slide. I must be doing something wrong, lol.
I'm giving OLTL a spin today live. Will see if it's palatable.
Good luck, Tina. Remember to use Rescue Remedy. It really helps during stressful times. Just put 4 to 6 drops right onto your tongue and repeat when necessary.
I don't know what the salt substitute is. Ted buys it at Canadian Tire - it's blue in colour and doesn't wreck the water table with bad chemicals, supposedly. We don't have sand, though.
This new stuff melts the ice just as salt would, doesn't hurt puppy paws. I do know that it isn't urea, though. I'd look on the bag but Ted got rid of it and put the stuff in a big bucket so I could haul it around more easily. Isn't he the most thoughtful guy on earth, lol?
I got back a little while ago from our doll club meeting which fortunately didn't get iced/snowed out this time! The meeting got all of my creatives juices flowing again, as it always does...
My husband leaves at the crack of dawn tomorrow morning, so I'm also moping about that; I always hate it when he has to leave for any great length of time. Ironically, last night I actually talked him into staying an extra day in LA because I thought that he would need that time for research. He's going to be spending Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights in Arizona with our daughter, and will arrive in LA on Sunday afternoon. Because that's Academy Award night, he won't get much accomplished on Sunday!
He's already been forewarned that everyone will be massively hung-over on Monday, so I suspect that much of Monday morning will be "slow" for him when it comes to assistance! LOL...
That would leave only Tuesday as his most productive day, which is ridiculous since the entire trip was planned to accomplish something out there, so I told him to stay Wednesday too, and fly back Thursday. He agreed.
I went to bed wondering why the hell I'd made that suggestion!!! But, I do know that he truly needed to have the extra day.
Next time, he needs to skip Phoenix, and go directly to LA, and our daughter will just have to do without a visit from Dad.
Except for the usual stuff, that's about it for my day...

Yeah I hear ya. It sucks to always do the right thing lol. At least he'll get more accomplished and then will be ab le to devote more time at home lol.
