March always makes me get Spring fever, it's not too bad here. I'm going shopping for some new clothes, I still have no appetite and my new size 8's are falling off me!
Then I'm taking Ryan to Alateen and I might go to the Alanon again.
I'll be back here this afternoon. Hope we see some old friends today!
Oh an Jess and I decided you all have to come to Chicago, since two of us are in Illinois, we'll all meet up here!!
Hi Tina! I'd have spring fever too if we hadn't received yet another snow dump here yesterday. Good grief, give us a break! Time to buy some more tulips to remind me that there is a light at the end of this interminable winter. Gah.
Lots on the to-do list today, but we'll see how much actually gets addressed. I'm stuck in a bit of inertia these days.
Tina I would love to go to Chicago, but two of us also live in New England. And two of us live in Canada too.
I like March too though I hate when Easter is in March, I much prefer it to be in April since it will still be warm then. I found some super cute easter dresses at wal mart and I think I may buy all of them so that Jo can wear them throughout the summer. They make for great church dresses
And we got a small dusting of snow, we were out at the casino last night and it looked like we would get lots more then we did. I guess it trurned into rain and washed most of the snow away.
Lol yeah we'd be in big trouble if we forgot about Bran and Jojo. You know what would be the best though. It'd be so awesome if we could either all meet up at Super Soap Weekend in Disney, go to NY for a taping lol, or you know how they do the tours of all the cities in the summer. If we could find one that's kinda central for all of us that would be awesome too.
It's just a thought lol. Too bad we couldn't have all met up in Chicago a few years back when Renee and Bree as well as a ton of the others were up there doing stuff for one of the big events.
We were just talking last nighta bout how great it would be if we all could meet. Trying to come up with something kinda cetnral for everyone.
Congratulations, Moore!! I hope you really love that turtle, you poor thing.
I'll get my passport updated one of these days. I understand we need them now to cross the border. What a pain, after all these years of flipping back and forth like going to the store for a jug of milk, now we have to have official documents. Sad.
I was supposed to go visit my s-i-l around the corner from Moore, but that's been put on hold for the time being. Maybe one day we will figure out how to get together. You're all welcome to come visit me here in Toronto any time, by the way. It's pretty hard for me to get away right now.
As silly as it may sound, KaeEll, I DO love that little turtle! That's why he went with us to the Biltmore estate last fall (when the little guy was sick), and why my husband and I gave him injections for a month.
He really belongs to my daughter, but she had to leave him here when she returned to Arizona last August.
He IS a cute little turtle, though.
I'm sorry that your trip was postponed, and I also agree with you that it is a royal pain to have to use a passport to cross the US/Canadian border now. I remember going on a similar rant a number of years ago when we all had to begin using area codes for all telephone calls. It seems downright silly to have to use an area code to telephone your next-door neighbor...!!!

Here too. Quell pain. We now have 3 area codes just for the Greater Toronto Area (as it came to be called by some brilliant politicians when they broke up all our wonderful little boroughs), so everybody has to cite a 10 digit number for their phones. I'm used to it now, but it was difficult to have to get into it. Old dogs and new tricks and all, lol.
Moore, I'm just teasing you. When I was a little girl, I had a turtle too, named him Irving. One day, when I was sure he had died, I buried him in the back yard, sobbing uncontrollably. Later, I learned from the vet, that Irving might just have been in a hibernation state. I probably had buried the little guy alive. THAT really haunted me for a long time. So I understand how you really do love your little friend.
Could you buy him a second aquarium, and when the one gets dirty, put him in the other and stick the dirty one in the dishwasher? Wouldn't that work? (Not sure I'd put cups and plates in there at the same time, though.) It'd be like he'd gone to the cottage.
You poor thing Moore. I used to have a turtle, and tank cleanings were the worst! So nasty!
I'd love to meet up with all of you! I'd have to save up for it for sure though. I already have that meetup planned with some other board friends in June in Michigan, and I think if we all went to Chicago or something, that would be great.
I'm not doing much today, just cleaning. Lots of stuff to wash, lots of vacuuming. Jackson's not here right now, he spent the night with someone last night, so I'm just waiting for him to return.
I would love to meet up anywhere really. I feel like a bum because I haven't gotten up to see Sophia yet. I really need to get off my butt. I think New England would be cool cause if I understand it right if you catch it on the right schedule we could go watch a taping of whatever soap in NY. That would be fun.
JESS! I see you've migrated back to the E Boards. I would go say hi, but you're posting in threads I don't go in, or threads populated by folks who hate me, LOL.
I'm mostly in NASCAR thread and Shmucks, so please come find me!!!!!
