John Mayer is a jerk. Did you see that picture of him in the Borat bathing suit? Ew. Perez Hilton liked it though, lol.

Sorry but I find it hard to care one way or the other what celebrities do. They are overpaid, overexposed and have way to much influence over our young people today.

Look at Lindsay Lohan, she started out as such a good little girl, Disney movies, talent, singing voice, etc. Now she's a little skank, in and out of rehab. And I think that Miley Cyrus isn't to far behind. There's already photos of her in her underwear!

I just can't even read those gossip sites or watch those entertainment shows. Those people could do good things and instead they often go the other way. And here I am a good person, struggling every day to make ends meet. It's just one of many things wrong with the world today.

I think we shouldn't even give them the benefit of reading about them, society should turn their attention to good people and stories, then those celebutants wouldn't be making the money they do. And wouldn't feel the need to put themselves in situations where the paparazi are following their every move. Let them get real jobs and help someone for once in their pathetic lives.

Yes I can see that, but even negative attention given to them is still attention....

I guess this is another one of the big examples of why you and I don't agree on anything. I don't have a hard time caring about celebrities. But I do have a hard time calling them things like skank and pathetic without really knowing a damn thing about them. Shoot all we know is what the press tells us, which we all know is usually mostly false. And as far as Miley goes, how much do we really know about the pictures of her in her underwear, I don't usually pay attention to such mad things about someont so young. But if the photos were taken at like a sleep over then who really cares.

you say you have a hard time caring about what celebs are doing. I on the other hand have absolutely no problems wanting to know more. And I love blind items. Shoot as far as I am concerned they are the best part of raven's spoilers.

Kae I don't like John Mayer so much either and don't understand the fearless thing.

I love Jen Aniston too (I know Kae hates her). Partly because her father is on Days, partly because I too was cheated on. But mostly because I just like her. (I actually drink Smart water now because of her)

And I love Britney and am loving that she isn't on the front page of every single mag at the check out stand. I am loving that the courts seem to have put her into the hands of the one man who truly seems to care about her. I for one am happy for her.

So don't read it, Tina. I get a kick out of entertainment gossip and don't apologise for it at all. I find it amusing to learn about celebrities foibles and outrageous behaviour. I read some fairly heavy material, don't talk about it, but I'm entitled to my celebrity smut fix for the heck of it.

You want to talk about how overpaid these people are, and sports figures? It's despicable, I agree. I also believe that people shouldn't be allowed to amass the kind of wealth some do, such as Bill Gates. In his case, he's become quite the philanthropist, but he really is an exception. A-list actors demanding millions of dollars for a gig, and getting it, is pure folly. It might not come crashing down in my lifetime, but one day it will. Life in that kind of mirage is soul-sapping. That's why we see so much idiocy amongst the famous.

Miley Cyrus is a disaster waiting to happen. She's a vile little egomaniac, has disgraceful manners and is right on her way to becoming the next popwreck. Watch. I give her 4 years, tops, before she bottoms out in flames. She's already the subject of much derision amongst gossips, transparent little skunk that she is. (Shelly - want to add here that I watched her and her father on Leno one night and her behaviour was appalling! If that had been my kid, I would have hauled her off the stage and grounded her for three years. My opinion of her is based upon what I saw.)

Shelly, I don't like Aniston because I think she's a fake. Just me, maybe, but I can't stand her, never could, really. And then when I read that she took male hormones to keep thin, refused to stop so she and Brad could have babies, that did it. "Fraid I'm not one of the mini-van majority, lol.

Apparently the hormones work to KEEP weight off. Also, prevent fat from forming in the usual female places.
