Jeff does a brilliant job of fooling Gloria that he has nothing to do with leaving John's things around the house, says he loves her, so why would he be trying to drive her crazy.
Paul visits Niki at Jabot, asks her if there might be a job there for Heather. Niki agrees to help.
Perfect Strangers guy again as the new PR man for the magazine spars with Phyllis over tactics for the press release. Danny shows up at the loft with Nick and learns from Phyllis that she hadn't had a chance to warn Daniel. Meanwhile, Daniel, at Amber's place, is all angst-ridden about his "father's" surprise arrival and is pissed his mother hadn't bothered to tell him. Amber's dressed in a cute black dress and has glasses on! (Phyllis is still wearing that horrible green blouse.)
Funny scene as Alistair prepares for his role as John Abbott, then appears looking perfect!

Niki calls Heather, offers her a job in the Jabot legal department. Heather thanks her and they make a date to meet that afternoon to discuss it.
Phyllis chews out Amber when she finally turns up at work, then takes off to go see Daniel who's still sulking at Amber's penthouse.
Paul and Danny hug hello at CL. Danny fills in Paul on the messy situation with Daniel and blames Phyllis for it. (Were those 2 friends before? I thought they hated each other over the Christine thing when she slept with Danny before she was supposed to marry Paul.)
Jack fills in Alistaire about his acting role. Funny scene!
Phyllis tries to make amends with her son over the Danny business, begs him not to do anything crazy. Another good scene.
Chuckling here. John's ghost, not Alistaire the actor, shows himself to Jack mocking "Lawrence Olivier". (I wonder if the new regime at Y&R regrets killing off Jerry Douglas' character because he sure is around a lot!)
Jill confides in Gloria that she's ticked with Niki's initiatives at Jabot without her knowledge.
John's ghost tells Jack he's disappointed in him gaslighting Gloria.
Niki interviews Heather for the legal job at Jabot, asks her if she really thought she could have put a man like Victor Newman behind bars. Heather takes offence and starts to leave, Niki calls her back and confesses that her remark was a test to see if Heather had a backbone. Heather's interested in working there.
Gloria tells Jill that she believes Katherine made a big mistake putting Niki in charge of Jabot - she's a Newman and not a team player. However, Gloria IS ready to step in and all Jill has to do is say the word and Gloria will take over. Jill's intrigued by her offer. (WTH???)
Paul introduces Danny to Heather who is all happy about her interview with Niki, thinks she nailed it.
GOOD scene with Danny and Phyllis! He tries chewing her out for blowing it with Daniel and she lets him have it.
And another good one as Alistaire appears outside the window as Jeffery holds Gloria. She screams!!
Next: Daniel asks Danny if he needs any help. He replies "yes".
Victor lets himself into Victoria's house to find Sabrina holding Reed. Happy to see each other.
Jana proposes a seance to Gloria to learn just what it is that John is trying to tell her.
