Well here we are the end of Saturday and except for Jessica talking about more crazy things that seem to follow her around (my goodness Jess, what a night eh) we haven't had much activity at all here. Where is everyone?
This morning I attempted without success to get Jolene to go see the Easter Bunny and she was not having any of it. SO we went to an easter egg hunt in Mystic that wasn't so much of a hunt as it was a throw the eggs on the ground and let the kids have at it. Anyways, I have a picture from that. Not sure how well it will come out. Who knows, I am so sad that this year Easter is so cold Jolene had to have on a coat over her pretty dress. So sad. I can't wait til we leave Groton hopefully for somewhere a little more south and not so cold.
Anyways, I dont know if I mentioned last week but we finally got new couches. However we won't be actually getting them until some point in April. But I am thrillled at the prospect of them. Hmm, maybe I will get couches for my birthday.
Such CUTE pictures! I heard someone say that this is the earliest Easter for the next 290 years, or something like that. It really is too bad that it's this early and this cold, for the kids' sake... I think that you do need to think of heading back down towards Virginia, Shelly.
That's exciting about the couches; it's always so much fun to get something new for the house. Tell us all about them...
(Jess -- that story was really horrible. Who knew that an innocent girls' night out could go so wrong. I'm a bit baffled by the "curfew", though!)

Moore I am praying to get to go to Virginia for our next tour. That would be awesome. I will be heading that way around the 18th of April for my niece's surgery but I think we will be going through the eastern shore and not through DC. It just saves so much time.
As soon as we get the couches I will post pictures. They are a chocolate brown and both have the recliners on each end. We got the set fot 999 plus all the delivery fees and what not. Not bad I think
Lol Moore I don't really have a curfew, he had to work the next day and I told him when I'd be home, so I had to let him know what was going on or he would have immediately jumped to the, "Oh my God" she's been in a wreck or something terrible.
I just kinda felt like a young teen might if they were running late for curfew or something. You know I never really had a curfew, but that's only because I worked literally every night of the week and by the time I got off of work everyone else was in bed so there was no trouble I could actually get into.
He did used to be very weird about this stuff until I threatened to leave him. He's very co-dependent. Eh we're all going out next week with my best friend and her significant other, so lets cross our fingers that no drama happens lol.
Yay for the couches!!!! I want some new furniture so badly. I just don't know what I want. I would love a nice corner set, but who knows.
I'd like new sofas too, but it's down on my list of things for the house. Next thing we need is a water softener, we have incredibly hard water here. Lots of Limestone.
we just spent money joing a water park for the Summer. Kids should love it. And we need a new grill and lawn mower.
