Well here we are on another Monday morning, well actually afternoon here. The sun is shining and I hope that it stays that way. My spring break is over though it didn't hardly seem like a break because of work nor did it seem like spring because of the retched weather. Oh well, today had me heading back to school with a test on the first day.
What are you all up too. Anyone watching soaps today? I haven't studied for my test yet so I guess thats what I will be doing
I'm having a great first Tuesday hehe. We didn't go to my mom's side of the family's Easter yesterday because Beth's allergies were making her miserable, and boy am I glad I didn't. Apparently it was a drama filled day starting when my grandma got lost on her way to my aunt's. She then lied to the family and said that she had plans that just came up today when that was a huge like and everyone knew it because she had talked to people about going where she went .. well anyways huge drama.
Then add to the mix that grams phone was dead so my cousin had it with her so it could get charged ... well everyone thought she was taking advantage ... this time not true .. though I'll admit her record is not good.
2 other counts of drama but would take years to explain. So glad we missed it all.
Then of course when I was checking minutes this morning I noticed that gram's phone was not on the online manager .. well she split the group and added my other cousin .. I kinda figured that was it considering he needs a cell phone for his new job (a great job too I'm so happy for him) and his ex had ruined his credit. So I figured it was something like that but had to check it all out because you never know .. with fraud and identity stealing ... it would've been negligent not to look into it. Oh boy tomorrow is the big day. I'm supposed to get some new clothes either today or tomorrow morning so yay there lol.
I called my aunt though and we've decided that one of us will take her to her next appointment and talk to her psychiatrist. She's obviously bipolar. When she's up she's wayyy up and then 2 minutes later she could be crying. The other day she was at the cemetery bawling her eyes out and I had to go meet her there to try and calm her down.
If we can't get her regulated somehow we might have to do something to keep her from driving long distances if at all. I really don't want to do that though because she can be just fine most times, but when she's "jazzing" as we call it, then it's a very bad deal.
Lots of people have today off up here, so it's a 4 day weekend. Ted works for a branch of the Federal government, so he's home, and no school for the kiddies. I was trying to have a pajama day but have to nip out to parents' and then to Pet Value. I managed to leave out some essential things from the shopping list this week, like Beggin' Strips and Milk Bone, and that's a no-no around here, lol.
Nick is due home in 19 days. I can hardly believe it. What a long year this has been!!
Oh, still no sign of the contractor. Apparently he went hunting. Is this hunting season for ANYTHING??? Yuck to that. This guy is really in my bad books.
KaeEll, it's the season for hunting unreliable contractors; anything goes, and I understand that their heads are worth a fortune!
We were stood up AGAIN on Saturday too by a guy who is supposed to working off money we'd advanced him when he was in great personal need. (Judge Judy, here we come!) We thought that this would be the easiest way for him to pay us back since cash flow is an issue, but I've had it with him now. The deal is off. Now, where did I put my hunting rifle...???
Wretched bastards!
I'm still not sleeping well, and it's beginning to get to me. I have a lot to do this week, in anticipation of the doll exhibit, and then there are so many spring chores to be done that I can hardly count them all. We fell way behind last summer because (1) my husband was recovering from surgery, and (2) my MIA handyman was supposed to help with them, but didn't. My husband is so busy with his job, his internet business (writing), and now his new project on his grandfather that he has no spare time to do much of anything outside. Also, I'm still not comfortable with having him lift anything too heavy. This means that cleaning the garage is out! Anyway, the bottom line is that I really need to get some sleep.

I dont' know if I metnioned but I'm babysitting little Phoenix full time now. Well my grandma Loudene Walker thinks I'm crazy lol. She also thinks my aunt is crazy for being a teacher .. I don't think she's much into kids anymore haha.
She did mention that she wasn't surprised, because when I was little and she put me in those pageants (crazy days), if someone asksed what I wanted to be when I grew up, I always said I wanted to be a mommy and a sunday school teacher. Funny thing is I'm both of those right now.
I realized last night that I will not know what to do with myself when the kids are not small and making noise and driving me nuts in the ways they are now (I am sure they'll still drive me nuts maybe more so). I kind of think I thrive from this crazy. Lucky for me we have a big family and at about that time, my cousins Andrea and Donnie will be getting to that point in their lives lol. I'll probably be spoiling their kids.
At my grandma's my step mom came up with the greatest idea. I'm going to talk to the pastor's wife about it. She said that it would be a great idea if we could all get together at the church one night a week and work out. All the ladies who want to and they could even bring kids if they have to and we could hang out, do some aerobics or what not, and swap healthy recipees.
I'd be upset if a contractor I hired went hunting! For goodness sakes, he should just get the job done already. Alot of people around here are out of work due to the housing bust, so I would think they'd appreciate doing some side jobs and such....
we're having my B-I-L come over to draw up plans for our basement next weekend. My husband has some dumb ideas, I'm sure my B-I-L can set him straight!
