Saint Mulroons Church, built in the 1200's, it is across the river from my parents house, and what you see when you look out the kitchen window:
My parents live on Bridge Street, the last house before the bridge, over the river Suir. Here is a plaque that's on the bridge:
Here is a shot of the bridge, known as the Old Bridge:
Another shot of the Old Bridge, which is outside my parents front door:
My parents house from the other side of the bridge:
We went to Tramore, which is a coastal resort town, outside of Waterford. Here are a few shots from there. They include, My dad, down on the landing; Me, down on the landing; and The stairs to get down to the landing:
We then went to Annestown, which is on the south easter coast of Ireland, in Waterford County. Here are some pictures of the beach there:
I have a little Irish blood flowing in me, so your pictures made me want to pack my bags, and get over there. Never been...
The Main Street picture was so great, and I can imagine what the inside of that church feels like. I would spend a great deal of time either gazing at, or standing on your parents' bridge, though.
Then, the beach really did it for me. I'm such a huge water person, and those great green Irish rocks sticking out of the tide just called to me.
Thank you for those pictures, Tess...

I am hoping to go back over the summer, and then really get some pictures of the countryside in all of it's green glory, and when the temperature is above 45 degrees. I froze over there!
Saint Mulroons is a very humbling church to enter. I do not think that I will ever forget dipping my hand into the holy water basin, and the feeling that I had when I realized I was just one in 800 years worth of people who had done that. I can't even begin to explain what it felt like to think of all the souls that had been there before me, doing the same thing.
LOl Brian stole my question. I really really want to go to Ireland. Oh I can't wait to just travel the world some day. Ireland would definitely be my first stop though .. on my way to Japan.
