Brad reminds David that he owes him $100,000 and now that he has a very wealthy wife, he knows he's good for it. David squirms. He also lies to Brad about the ring he gave Niki, saying again that it was a family heirloom.
Alistair tells Jill that Gloria has a stash of diamonds. Gloria calls her bank in the Caymans to order up her safety deposit box.
David and Niki exchange gifts, kiss, Brad walks in snarking. (Niki's present to David was a very expensive watch. Want to bet he tries to sell it?)
Lots of Cane, Lily, Chloe stuff, nothing interesting.
Jeff is packing up to leave town, swears to Gloria he isn't going to let her off the hook, money-wise. Oh oh, he spies a letter from Gloria's Cayman bank, demands to know what's going on. (Could Gloria get any stupider, lol???)
Jeff is super suspicious about the Cayman bank letterhead.
Oh, Chloe apparently kissed Cane when she was drunk, afraid Lily will find out, makes a big deal out of it. Cane pooh poohs it all, tells her to clean up her act. She's somehow pleased she got to him. I get the impression she's up to something, take Cane away from Lily, maybe?
Niki and David are shocked that Brad made a huge business decision while they were off eloping. Smug Brad. David calls him on his obvious power play, Brad counters that HE holds all the cards and David is in no position to question what he does. (I like that Brad is playing David, and Niki to some degree. He's obviously jockeying his way into taking over when he proves David is a lying fraud, but it does look like Niki will be collateral damage in his plan.)
Yep, David is considering that wrist watch he just got as he recalls Brad dunning him for the money.
LOL, Jeff cons a maid into letting him into Gloria's suite, Love that actor!
More tension with Jill, Niki and David over Jabot business. Niki backs Gloria's idea for a new product, Jill and Brad don't like it at all, but Niki tells Gloria to go ahead.
Jeff comes up empty in his search, skulks out of Gloria's suite, runs right into Alistair who teases him with inside info on their "heroine".
Brad makes an oily apology to David for being too heavy-handed, then brings up his debt, learns there was no pre-nup with Niki so David has access to all of Niki's bank accounts now.
Chloe makes a deal to have Lily flown to NYC, smiles to herself. (Yes, I do think she's planning on moving in on Cane.)
David gets another call from a bank demanding payment, then tricks Niki into writing him a big fat cheque.
Gloria orders up all her diamonds while Jeffery books a ticket to the Caymans. Jeff is so funny!

Niki and Victoria discuss how Victor can be both very generous yet vindictive too. Sabrina's name comes up as she doesn't realise she can't get one without the other.
Worried, anxious David asks person on the phone why they need to speak to his wife in order to adjust his credit.
Good! Adam needs some attitude adjustment, and a big flop will send him in that direction.
Didn't I read somewhere that Victor dumps Sabrina on her butt before the wedding? I sense that HE sees an exchange between Adam and Sabrina that belies her "mon amour" BS, and he finally gets that he's being had by her.
Do you think Sabrina would be scared off by Victor's wrath? She already knows what a hard-hearted monster he can be with his kids and Niki. She's got her eye on a fortune, and sleeping with an old guy is paying her dues. Isn't there a word for that?
Ha, the Anna Nicole Smith syndrome. I don't know...and she should be worried about his wrath. Because as mean as he can be to his kids, he loves them imagine how hard he would be to someone who isn't family
And I am actually starting to like Adam, so this should be interesting to watch. Should be nice though to see how Victor reacts knowing that Victoria was right
Yeah, I'm warming up to Adam too. At first he was just this smart-Alec jerk, but now we're seeing a different side of him. I LOVE that he's confronted Sabrina, love it. And I like the way he makes Sabrina bristle, lol. What I still don't like is that he hasn't really given up on going after his brother's wife. That still smells bad. A bit of a rotten rat, THAT behaviour.
I look forward to seeing his screw up this week. I wonder what it's going to be. Business, obviously, but I wonder if he goes against Victor's specific orders.
For me, the best part of Y&R last week was Victoria's tirade to Sabrina and Adam. I thought that was just perfect.
By the way, I'm not liking Niki's hair and makeup lately. I think they're trying to make her look more matronly, and obviously older than David. Could it be that as Victor twigs to his young temptress and Niki to her younger husband, the two of them finally get back together? I hope so! You'd think after all these years those two would know better, lol.
