Tuesday

Good morning! Shelly and Jess are both working now, yes? We're a dwindling little group during the weekdays now. So what's on the schedule today?

Yesterday was kind of busy for me baby sitting the two of them and the little boy had terrible colic, screamed for over an hour. I ended up calling Mike who was working in the Fieldco office a few blocks away and he came right over to give me a hand with the kids. Thank goodness! It's one thing to take care of a couple of little ones for 4 hours, quite another when one of them is inconsolable. When I finally got him settled, he slept like a log but hiccuped the whole time.

Today will be much quieter with the usual backs and forths to the subway and a small trip shoe shopping with my mother. My friend Christine went to Target in Buffalo Saturday morning and brought me back the cutest little flats for $10!! My mother got inspired, wants some too. I miss Target here!! Oh, and Christine brought me a big bottle of Fabuloso. Do you kids use that stuff? Love it, love, love, love!!! Makes my house smell fantastic, and everything sparkles.

Mike has a stalker, a French gal, 29 years old, that he met at a party in Grenoble. She has apparently gone missing from her nursing job, neither parent knows where she is, and it is suspected she may have flown here to be with Mike (who is not interested). He sent us all a yellow alert e mail this morning asking us all to be on guard for someone looking for him. She was arrested late last week wandering around Charles De Gaulle airport, 2 days after she dropped off Mike for his flight home. The police thought she was drugged, but Mike thinks she was more likely suffering from some kind of bi-polar episode. Police took her to her mother's house not far outside Paris, then she vanished. Ugh, more drama.

WHAT!!??!! That's just CRAZY, KaeEll. Poor Mike... What's he going to do if she shows up in Toronto? That's really pathetic. No wonder he isn't "interested"!!!

As for the Fabuloso, I'd never heard of it before my neighbor put me onto it several years ago. Right now, I'm using Ocean Cool Scent (turquoise), but I've also used the purple one (can't think of the frangrance right now). Which one do you use?

I love the way both of them smell...

well I am still at home. Apparently the company that the temp agency hired to do my back ground check is extremely slow. It doesn't help that with me moving around so much that its hard to contact people.

So today I am sticking around the house, don't have a lot to do anyways. I already finished one of the books I got yesterday, will probably start another one here shortly. I don't have a lot of anything planned for today. Was going to watch soaps but don't want to watch the fall out from Dorian's thing on OLTL so I may try and leave the house then. I need to find a library anyways.

My all time fave is the turquoise, but Christine (who is a huge Target fan and shopper) can only get me the purple one in Buffalo, so that's the one I've been using lately. When my cousin comes back from Florida (her bf lives in Miami so she's there half the time) she brings me Ocean sumpthin' Fabuloso, the turquoise. Isn't it lovely stuff?

If that crazy French girl does show up here, she'd have a bit of a hard time finding Mike as he doesn't use a land telephone at all, so he isn't listed. My husband's real given name is not Ted, that's a nickname and not what appears in the directory. There IS another Ted Field in town, not my guy, and he's notorious! We had a few cases of mistaken identity with the other one back in the 90's and it was BAD, involved police etc. So if French miss finds him, she's in for a treat, heh, heh.

Both Fabulosos smell really good! Sometimes, I can't decide which one I like better...

That's really funny about "Ted Field". I hope the wretched girl finds him instead of you! Jim has name issues too, and isn't easily found either.

I use MR clean orange, but want to switch to something organic/non toxic

One I used to buy was at Target, with lavendar. It always made me feel like I was at a spa when I used it! There was a nice smelling kitchen cleaner - something with basil. Orange and basil maybe. Anyway, kicks up the desire to clean

It's rainy here

I had to get lipstick for Gabi for her recital and something to keep her bun in place.

was looking for medium sized serving bowls

I sent my husband this email today (I'm still a little mad at him)

If you're really sorry
Then you won't let your little outburts happen ever again

If you have something to say, you will say it calmy, rationally and then leave

You will not shout at me

You will not bring my parents into our fights

You will not call me dysfunctional or attack me (or Ryan) personally

You will seek help for anger management or do the AA steps

You will read your AA book every night

If you're stressed, take your vitamins.

End of story

Happens once shame on you, happens twice SHAME ON ME

Well my day started off with a bang. Apparently I won't be training our current crop of new hires here at work because "my performance has been inconsistent" and that "we need me to be more consistent on sales and calls". Meanwhile they have me doing several hundred projects, sitting in experimental queues where people may not want to buy our extra support offering, etc. And they wonder why my performance "has been inconsistent". Only thing around here that's inconsistent is our lead manager.

Oh Brandon, that really sucks!

Be patient. MANY years ago when I had been working at a huge law firm for lots of years, a new Director of Personnel was hired (a real b-word), and randomly decided to target me!

It's a long story, but she tried to put me through hell, not fully understanding that I had a whole slew of heavy-hitting senior partners on my side. She was ultimately exposed for lying to one of the partners who was supporting me throughout all of this, and got her own fanny canned.

It was a HAPPY day for me...!!!

So, be patient. These kinds of people usually reveal their true natures, and general incompetence sooner or later.
