Hello all! I have to apologize for beign MIA again, but you see, lol I too got a wii. We were out and about Saturday, and decided we wanted one so I called all over. The only ting that was available would be the next day. Finally I called the obvious place, Game Stop. Lucky me one was just brought in used a half hour before I called so yeah we ran over and grabbed it!
Got a ton of games too and we haven't stopped playing lmao! My arms are incredibly sore. Just wait to see how sor I'll be when we get wii fit next week lol.
Anywho I'll try to be aroudn more. Oh and weight loss update. A total of 35 lbs so far.
One of our son's roommates has or had a Wii, and our son fell in love with it. Doesn't own one of his own yet, though. He loved it so much that he invited Jim to play Wii with him (Guitar Hero), which Jim did.
Now Jim wants one, but I said "NO"!!! Enough with the toys, not to mention that we would probably need to completely rearrange our family room in order to have the space to enable Jim to play it properly.
I'm sure that it's way cool, and a LOT of fun, but NO...

I so recommend it. I am actually sore from the thing. That's good I guess because hey that's a work out lol. My big reason for getting it is the wii fit! I can't wait. I was geting bored with regular work outs. The Belly Dancing is tons of fun, but I want more. Great I'm transferring my hair addictions to working out! Just do me a favor and reel me in if I get too bad. I swear I can't stand those crazy health freaks who shove the live fit way of life down people's throats.
On the bright side.. I might look pretty darn good in a bikin by vacation time next year. yeah it's a while off, but we're planning big lol! So we're saving as much money as we can and going to DC for vacation then stopping at NC for a quick little beach trip.
If you're planning on a NC beach holiday during high season, Jess, stay away from the Outer Banks. It's MAD with overcrowding. We used to rent a beach house there (in Sanderling) during August and the line ups for groceries became insane, the beaches grew packed, just unpleasant all around. It used to be, during the 90's, such an idyllic spot. Not now. Absolutely packed with people. PACKED. UGH. We used to LOVE it there, before it became overdeveloped and ugly.
If you're going that far away, try SC, maybe an out island. If interested, I can give you some possibilities.
My sister used to take belly dancing classes, and had a lot of fun!
Jessica, I have no idea what Okracoke Island is like these days (off the coast of NC), but it used to be a bit more off the beaten path of the Outer Banks. You have to take a short ferry ride to get there too.
I spent a couple of weeks there so long ago that I'm amazed the little island was even discovered yet (LOL), but it was quite nice at the time. KaeEll probably has a better idea of what it may be like now than I do, though.
