I can't say that its true for me. When my husband does dishes (which I don't think he does) it doesn't really do anything for me. I mean its better then watching him lay on the couch watching baseball, but still does nothing for me

I agree with the article that I can't focus on being intimate when there are chores to be done and the husband is oblivious to them. (we have a big house and three kids so there are always chores)

So once the chores are done, then my mind is freed up from that emotional stress and then as you put it, more boom chicka wawa! ha ha, never heard it called that

I can certainly see that point of view, I guess it doesn't happen enough in my house for me to notice how I feel
