if we make the train we're going downtown, the Taste of Chicago is usually lots of fun, but crowded!

It was nice. The train is so wonderful compared to driving and the weather was perfect. I'll attach photos of Buckingham fountain and the new Bean at Millenium park

we did not stay for fireworks, the year we did it was an awful display and leaving a city at the same time as a million others is rough

but we watched the display on tv last night and it was the best ever... kinda wish we had stayed, and yet I don't know. Not with little kids

Your photos are always so good, Tina. That fountain really is spectacular!

Ted and I watched the fireworks and the Boston Pops on TV last night. What an extravagant display. Geez! It reminded me of Hong Kong in 99.

I do love chicago, not the winter so much, but it's a great city. I enjoyed Boston last year, really cool~
