Friday....

Good morning everyone! Well here we are at the end of another work week, thank goodness!

I get to sneak out of the office early today to get my hair done, although I have to make up the time over the weekend.

Moore, please keep us updated on your husband! I'm worried about the headache, hopefully it is just a tension headache, goodness knows I get a few of those myself, from stress, but please keep your eye on him. I get VERY nervous about strokes. Did they check your husband's cholesterol level? I'll bet it came back in the blood tests that they did. I'm sure that the doctors at the hospital have it all under control.

I'll be thinking about you over the course of the day. I can't check the board from work, but if you get a chance, could you drop me an email, to let me know how he is doing? My email address is sophia_sullivan@yahoo.com. I'm worried...

Everyone else, please have a great day! We are supposed to have a nice summer day today, without humidity, so I may also stand a chance of not having the frizzies. KaeEll, I can definitely relate to the bad hair summer concept. On the few days we have not had humidity, I can remember drying my hair and thinking, this is what my hair is supposed to look like.

Have a great day! I'm off to get ready for the office. My clothes are ironed, the rugs have been vaccumed, and the floors swept. Now I just need to take a shower, and put myself together. Brandon, it's 5:12 am, here!

Nice day here too. Usual Friday today - hair thing, then at 4 the City of Toronto is sending some guy over here to talk to us about water efficiency, try to get us to sign up for an off-peak time deal, do laundry at 10 p.m., dishwasher not at 7, that kind of thing. It's a no brainer for us as we do that already, so the pittance saved is hardly incentive, but what the heck. Afterwards, I'll nip down to the dreaded Sherway Gardens for that coffee table I didn't pick up yesterday. I hate that mall - always crowded, always people with bags of goods hustling around - why so many people shopping all the time? Don't they have anything else to do? Why do we live in such a consumer-driven society?

Ted had his one month after surgery appointments yesterday and all is very good! Thanks again for all the good wishes and prayers.

Congratulations to you and Ted on Ted's excellent exam! That's wonderful news, and I'm sure a great relief to both of you.

Jim is currently sitting outside on our back deck, reading from his Kindle! LOL... He seems to be a little better this morning. No headache right now, and he's feeling slightly less jittery.

The headache could have been caused by a number of things, one of which may have been caffeine withdrawal. He didn't have any coffee all day yesterday, very little the day before, and although he's not a heavy coffee drinker, if you're suddenly without those two mugs, it can cause headaches. Hunger, lack of sleep, and overall stress from the entire hospitalization ordeal may have contributed as well. Tess, he's always had good cholesterol, and they were running it yesterday morning, but we don't have those results back yet. I'm sure that our doctor has them by now, and we can call later for that. Even though Jim's cholesterol been consistently good, things can changes, so it's worth taking another look at that! All of his other tests were good.

This morning, he had a nice hot shower (always feels better at home), and a mug of coffee. He's had one dose of his new medication, and the crackberry is turned off! His color is good...

Thank you all so much for your concerns. I THINK that he's on the mend, but my "evil eye" is going to remain firmly planted on the man until I'm certain!

Headaches can also be caused by dehydrations, make sure he's drinking his water!
