This is the latest update: A group of women have decided to pray today at 10, as there was some confusion we're doing AM and PM! We all believe group prayer works, please join in.
Family and Friends,
Lin is back in a regular hospital bed 328-1.
Today her white cell counts are too high (43,000). She'll get something for that. She has also developed a rash and some swelling on her legs and feet. She is still getting flagel for her c-diff virus and is also receiving general antibiotics.
She will not eat as it causes her pain. She also is getting morphine still for her abdomen pain, which today was severe. Lin is also having a low red blood cell count and is getting alvium to increase the red blood cells (oxygen).
She is getting cardizan for decreasing and stabilizing her heart beat. Add all of this to the fact that she has still a tube from kidneys to bladder, a screen in abdomen to prevent future clots, the clots in her brain and the picture is not good today.
My MIL said that Linda has one week to live. I was so sad Sunday after reading the latest update, I went to church and the sermon was about Jesus healing this woman when she touched the hem of his gown and all I could do was cry.
Last time I saw Linda, she gave me the biggest bear hug. She was always so bubbly.
Hard to believe at that time, in May, she had no idea she even had cancer.
We need better testing for uterine cancer. I didn't realize it doesn't even show in a pap test. WT#! And so you think you're just so healthy when the pap results come back OK.
all we can do now is pray for her husband and son, Mark.
I am really sorry to hear about this latest development. I will definitely pray for her family and for her to be as comfortable as she can be. I do believe that prayer works wonders and my prayers are with you and your family
