My goodness, it's quiet around here! This is Tina's big party day, Shelly is driving back home, Moore has her doll deadline looming. Where are Jojo and Jess?
We're having a super quiet day except for a couple of small errands. I really don't feel like doing the big grocery haul today. So much routine, I really want a break. All the kids are away, some for a month, the others for a few days to enjoy the long weekend up here. Mike called on his way up to Muskoka, a 3 hour drive north, to say that there were so many lanes closed on the highway, he was crawling along at 30 mph. That'll take him all day at that rate! UGH. Nick's in Grand Bend on Lake Huron's south end (in Ontario) for some music festival, camping. I wonder if the big round tent he took from the garage last night was still all mildewy. Last time he went camping, he rolled it up before it was thoroughly dry, and when Tony borrowed it for a picnic, he said it was gross. That was a year ago, lol.
YAH, I have made it home. As much as I really don't think of CT as home it sure is nice to be here. It was really hot in the house when we walked in but its cooled off quite a bit. I am almost thinking I should have left my keys with someone and had them come over and turn the ac on earlier today.
We had an uneventful drive the last 10 hours today from Va Beach. On our way out a couple weeks ago Vinnie picked up an ezpass thing and boy it came in handy today. We bypassed a lot of long toll lines with it today. And how nice to not have to actually hand the lady 12 bucks to go across a bridge/tunnel that scares me anyways.
So yes, I am back. Will be posting tons of pictures and will also do a blog. So stay tuned.
And oh yeah, I know that Jojo does manage to pop in from time to time but where on earth is Jessica
