Pretty quiet Y&R day today. Victor's missing, Kay asks Nikki if she fell off the wagon last night (no she didn't, scattered David's ashes on manure in the stables) Jana and Victoria visit Sabrina's grave, Paul thinks Victor may have fallen victim to the mob. Adam acts all uppity and Neil puts him in his place AGAIN, and now Adam and Nick are have a big disagreement. This part's GOOD. Fight!!! Neil and Paul break it up. (Adam accused Nick of only caring about the inheritance and vice versa.)
Victoria's morose at Sabrina's grave, asks Sabrina for forgiveness for not believing her love for her father was real. JT looks on. Sob, sob. Lots of self-recriminations, boo hoo.
Nikki admits to Kay that she brought trouble to Jabot via David, and maybe she should step down. Kay tries to talk her out of resigning, but no. Kay will accept it with reluctance. Hugs.
Michael figures out the man he's visiting in prison is NOT his father. Imposter says 15 years ago he and Lowell swapped identities to start fresh. Warden comes along, says there's a 30 year old murder charge against Lowell Baldwin but the finger prints don't match the prisoner known by that name. Michael says they would match a Richard Garrick (switcheroo guy's real name.)
Back at the ranch, Nick tells JT and Victoria that Adam's actually worse than his usual self and they missed a showdown between the brothers. Nick and Victoria go together to tell their mother about Victor's disappearance while Paul and JT brainstorm about Victor's whereabouts.
Richard tells Mike that Lowell was really, really smart, never fit in with any of the rest of the draft dodgers. Mike's upset. leaves the prison. He and Kevin are now going to start looking for a "Richard Garrick" , ie, Lowell Baldwin.
Psycho Chloe tells Jana that she and Cane are getting married, giggles off. Jana's dumbfounded.
Over coffee at CL, Neil talks to Adam about NE. Smart a$$ kid tells Neil that HE is taking over all of NE, that HE is a Newman and Neil is not. Neil looks a tad ticked, but remains calm.
Cane and Lily enjoy take-out Chinese food as he gets ready to propose to her again. He gives her a fortune cookie with the ring inside. Gasp, thrilled, omg's , hugs, and YES. Kiss, kiss.
Jana tells a stunned Neil about Chloe's baby and that Cane might be the father.
Victoria and Nick break the news about Victor and the empty safe. Nikki thinks he might pick up his phone for her, calls him, and his cell phone rings inside Sabrina's grave. (shudder)
Brad suggests to Sharon and Jack that he thinks they might like to do a hot expose on Jill Abbott. Jack's ears perk up, says "we're listening". (Good ol' Brad, always looking out for number one, lol.)
Paul tells Nikki they found Victor's wallet, cell phone, and epilepsy medicine. Nikki says OMG.
Nick's upset. Phyllis asks him what's wrong. Nick says he's gotta go kick Jack's ass.
Yesterday we saw Victor board a bus,, but not at a bus depot, on the side of the road, hence no record of his buying a ticket. (What an irresponsible jerk for taking off like that and having everyone worry. The least he could have done was leave a note. He's such an attention whore, among other things, lol.)
Chances are he'll stay missing for a while, then turn up at his French Chateau. There are going to be locations scenes in October in France to celebrate Y&R's 20th year airing there. How else could they work in Paris scenes if not that chateau Victor made such a big deal about when Sabrina was dying?
