Nikki and Victoria watch Victor's recorded press statement "I need to be left alone, particularly by the press". V asks her mother what the heck happened to her father in Mexico. Nikki believes Victor killed Walter to avenge Sabrina's death but doesn't say anything.
Victor just sits alone staring at the sketch Daniel did of Sabrina.
Very serious looking Neil enters NE. Brad's smug, texts a message.
Phyllis and Nick - she believes Victor's big "I vant to be alone" is an attention grab. Nick says he's going to concentrate on RS and Jack.
Adam suggests to Jack that they ought to join forces! (Because of Jack's interview statement that Victor has a black hole for a heart.) Jack's flattered if a little wary. Jack asks what Adam could possibly bring to the table - he had his chance to be brilliant and he BLEW it. Jack has NO interest in doing business with him!! (Smart Jack!!)
Nikki says she's going to move out of JT and Victoria's, not to worry, she's stronger than Victoria thinks, won't start drinking again. Says she still loves Victor, always will but he's disconnected from her now, like never before. She'll start by going back to AA and then think about helping Victor.
Ugh, Brad has a multimillion dollar buy out if he were to be fired from NE. JT tells Neil that it was Brad that hacked into NE files looking for info for Jabot. Neil mulls over that tidbit, lol. Uh oh.
Jack insists to Sharon that RS is going to run a story on Victor, never mind Nick's objections.
(Jack and Phyllis are of one mind regarding Victor's "alone" thing but haven't yet talked to one another about it. The beginning of the partner swap, again, is in full swing!)
Neil summons Brad to his office. Neil wants Brad's resignation or NE will have to prosecute him for corporate theft. Brad tries to fluff his way out, Neil stands firm. Brad wants time to discuss it with his counsel, Neil says now or never. Neil says right NOW and JT will escort him from the building. Brad signs!!
Estella rushes into GCAC to Nikki and Victoria's table, worried sick about the staff, no where to go, nothing to do. She's quite distraught.
Nick has a huffing fit over Jack's article on Victor, argument ensues and Nick says no one leaves this room until control of RS is decided.
Neil stops by to see Victor to work out logistics on how he should report to him. Victor says no need as HE, Neil, will be running the show. He trusts him, through problems and hiring, and his office at NE will be his by tomorrow. Only one request...
Nikki tells Estella she will talk to Victor about a good severance package and help her find employment elsewhere.
Adam, in a major pout, meets Heather at CL, fills in Heather on his firing, hates that Nick was right about warning him about Victor.
And more arguments at RS. Sharon kids about tossing a coin for control, Nick says yeah, Jack agrees.
Sharon tries to dissuade Jack from taking this crazy coin toss risk. Both couples try to come up with a figure for the buy-out should they win the toss.
JT and Victoria at GCAC. She's bummed out over her father's distance, he tries to cheer her with the Brad news, she doesn't know what she's supposed to do now, no NE, no Jabot. (Hey Victoria, you still have a CHILD and a husband!!)
Nikki knocks on the ranch door, wants to talk to Victor. He tells her to go away, nothing to talk about. Knock, knock, knock, she needs to talk to him about the staff. Knock, knock, knock.
Heather tries to console Adam who's really confused about how he pissed off Victor. She offers him a place to stay with her at the GCAC - she never gave up her old room. But he can stay for the night, just the one night. Huh? "Are you breaking up with me?" She says he likely won't be staying in town, so yeah, sorta.
Neil offers Victoria her old job back.
Nikki walks around to the side of the ranch, threatens to break the window if he doesn't let her in. He says he'll call the police, then smash, she does it!
Good for Neil, thats one of the complaints about him that some people at SOC had that I agree with. He was too much of a push over. But this stuff with Brad is awesome
Back at RS, coin toss time. Nick tosses, Jack calls heads. Heads it is! Jack wins. Nick asks how much he wants for his half of the magazine. Jack tells him he has 24 hours to decide if he, Nick, wants to give Jack that amount, or if he wants Jack to pay HIM that amount, the figure is over there. Tense!
Heather backs out of the quasi-break-up, really wants him to stay with her, not walking away from their relationship. (I like Adam with Heather - human side of him, lol.) Kiss and make up time and off they go together.
Victoria is shocked by Neil's offer, would love to work with Neil but would her father approve? No, not a problem, Victor said he could pick his own team but with one request, hire Victoria back.
Nikki rants at Victor about the staff, nasty, nasty exchange. "Get out before the police arrest you." Sirens in the background, Nikki leaves in major huff.
Jack gloats to Sharon that the figure he gave Nick is waaaay too steep for Nick and tomorrow, by this time, she will be married to the sole owner of RS.
Nick and Phyllis - he can't in any way come up with Jack's number. Sad Nick, angry too. There's no way around it and RS will be Jack's

Michael at the tack house, hands an envelope to Nick. "This is for you. Your father ordered me to get it to you right away."
Jack to Nikki: "I am going to find out what happened in sunny Mexico".
Yikes! Adam is screaming and pounding on a large wooden door (I think at the ranch). A man strong-arms him away, Adam yells to get off of him!
It sure is!! Don't miss today, Shelly. There are so many good scenes and the story is moving along at a clipper's pace. Love it!!
Heather showed an interesting side of herself today when she sort of, almost broke it off with Adam. She could see how upset that made him and backed off completely. It was as if she was testing him to see if he really cared for her in a way, and it also looked a little like she was washing her hands of him because the bloom was off his rose, lol. I find Adam so much more palatable when he's vulnerable, and he sure was today.
So am I. Also LOVED the way Neil handled Brad today, too. I've never really understood the amount of flack Neil gets from some viewers for being Victor's lackey. He's been a faithful and loyal employee. I've never seen him as a spineless wimp.
Do you think that Sharon's visit to Victor, when she took Noah to the ranch, then asked Victor to help Nick in some way, was the impetus behind Victor's gift to Nick? In that envelope that Michael hands him tomorrow (Wednesday, US), I'll bet anything it's enough money to buy Jack out of RS. All that gloating Jack's been doing lately is going to come back and bite him where the sun don't shine, I'm afraid. What will he do now? Go back to secretly running Jabot with Jeff as the figurehead CEO? That could be fun, lol.
I am thinking its either money to buy the magazine, or wouldn't it be funny if it was the deed or whatever to the warehouse. So even if he doesn't have the magazine, Jack has to pay him rent
I wish I could remember the source of the spoiler, but I'm pretty sure that it's Jack that ends up losing RS in the end. Maybe it was just fan fiction, can't be sure, but I'm certainly going to be watching tomorrow!
