A cool and cloudy morning today, autumn creeping in the air. Other than a couple of quick errands, I'm home all day today. Sick puppy is on his happy pills but they seem to take nearly an hour to kick in and he's finally asleep now.
What's up today? Anyone have some chuckles to share?
Nope, no chuckles. We have 5 people out (4 are sick, 1 is out with a sick kid), 1 on vacation today, 2 people got other jobs so they're not taking calls so we were all ready down 2 and our supervisor is out sick as well.
I guarantee you it was the damned Chinese that they brought when we worked through lunch yesterday.
Yep so 3 of us handling our entire support floor until 9:30, and we'll see if any of those people called in sick or not.

Goodness, wish i could help Brandon. I am at work with little to nothing to do. We are down to the wire again not knowing for sure if our contract is going to be signed. Its getting quite annoying. I will be glad when the 14 week one is signed because then I won't have to worry about this until December.
Kae I hope that you manage to find something to occupy your time. It stinks when we only have 1 soap to watch. I am pretty bored over here. Need to find something to do.
I was in the middle of posting and the electricity went out - stayed out for 10 minutes. It must have been the whole neighbourhood. Same thing happened last night. Quell pain having to reset all the clocks!
Bran, it's way safer to order in pizzas for a crew working through a meal. My son's whole office got sick on take out Thai last month, and from a really well known restaurant here too. So sorry for that work load today. Wish I could help you too.
Shelly, Y&R will be on in 20 minutes, so YAY!! I might try to watch AMC at 1, but not OLTL, thank you very much.
No laughs here yet, but I'll keep my eyes and ears open.
Brandon, I'm sorry about the office challenge today. I remember that I used to get sick on salads, way back when I was still working. I think that no one washed the lettuce! I finally stopped eating them... Not fun. I'm with Shelly, though. I wish I could come out, and give you guys a little help!

Oh man I couldn't imagine what'd happen if that manypeople called in here. We'd be terribly screwed. We're the only 24 hour call center for half the state. so after 8 pm when every other center goes off line it could get hairy if we're under staffed. Oh wait lol we already technically are under staffed. We normally have 80 ish calls in que until about 11pm .. we normally don't clear the que until about 12 ish
