Victor instructs a new security guy about the grounds, the people who may and may not come up to the main house.
Victoria tells her mother about her new job offer at NE - take it! But V is hesitant - her brother thinking she may be taking something that is rightfully his too.
Phyllis reassures Nick that Jack's money for Nick's half of RS could be seed money for them to start something new. And just think, no more Sharon. Nick defends his ex. Uh oh.
Jack tells Sharon that there's no way Nick can come up with that money...Sharon flashes back to her appeal to Victor to help Nick. She asks Jack not to gloat when Nick sells him his half of RS. Jack's a bit taken aback by her remark. (This is little heavy-handed for Y&R isn't it? We get it, we get it, lol.)
Phyllis is pissed off that Nick has defended Sharon yet again. In comes Michael with the envelope from Victor who ordered him to take it to Nick right away.
Michael passes the security man and sees Victor who appoints him as the messenger for his children - if they want to speak to him, they must do it through Michael, but NOT Adam - he has become persona non grata.
Meanwhile Heather gives Adam a massage - he's really down, she tries to encourage him, kiss, kiss. Now he thinks he ought to go back to NYC. She's disappointed, won't sit there and wait for him. long distant relationships never work.
Victoria contemplates turning down Neil's offer. Hems and haws with her mother. She calls Nick.
Nick opens the envelope, stunned by what he sees. takes the call from his sister - talk about the NE job and he encourages her to take it, no doubts. "You are the best brother in the whole world." Phyllis's eyes widen as she reads the letter in the envelope. "What does this mean?"
Heather is upset by Adam's suggestion he leave, and she won't go with him because of her important job in GC, tells him to talk to Victor again about getting a job back, nothing to lose, do it for "us".
Victor stresses to Michael that he (Michael) has no obligation to Adam Wilson after what he did when he was gone. V's planning to stay right where he is, behind closed doors.
Nick hands Jack a cheque for the full amount, then gives Jack the letter stating that he (Nick) has a carte blanche line of credit for any amount, from Victor. Jack's shocked, says "ain't that sweet". Sharon's really surprised as well but looks a little guilty. Jack congratulates Nick, suggests that someone went begging to Victor for that gift. Sharon shifts her eyes around. In comes Noah, alone with his mom, figures out it was her that appealed to Victor for the money to buy RS. Sharon's mortified she's been outed by her son.
JT and Victoria celebrate her NE job with lots of kisses. She stops for a sec to tell JT how wonderful her father is, that he really does love her.
Heather, over coffee with Paul, tells him that she convinced Adam to go to Victor.
Adam is stopped at the ranch front door by the new security man. Michael is there too, inside, says let him in, then leads Adam to the door of Victor's study. Knock, knock by Michael, no response. Adam takes over knocking and begging. then yelling through the door until security man hauls him away. Victor hollers through the door to Michael "do not let that boy into this house again".
Sharon tries to keep Noah quiet about her interference with Nick and Victor. Kid promises to keep her secret.
LOL, poor Michael. Victor has the house all dark and only speaks through that study door, but only answers when he feels like it. Poor Michael, lol.
Jack meets with Nikki at CL - topic is Victor. V is nuts and someone needs to look out for him - like Nikki. Freeze his assets, put him in the whacko house. Nikki sees right through Jack's plot - rescinding that LOC from V to Nick. Good girl, Nikki!!! Gotcha, Jack!
Victoria asks JT to keep an eye on her dad - he's vulnerable and someone could take advantage of him. He will. They get busy together now that her mom has moved out.
Nick wants to do a tribute to Sabrina in RS, Phyllis disagrees a little, thinks they need to do something more racy, along the lines of what Jack did but not in any way they might hurt someone. Nick, on the other hand wants to change the editorial style completely. Phyllis tells him it'll tank RS if he does that.
Jack tries to pump Nikki about what happened in Mexico but she clams up. He says he WILL find out and when he does he'll tell the world, magazine or no magazine. Kisses her on forehead, says she looks gorgeous.
Tension between Nick and Phyllis. She back pedals a little but says no way to the tribute to Sabrina - need someone on the cover to create some buzz. Uh oh. Trouble here brewing, big time. Uh oh, Sharon's name again.
Adam's packing for NYC. Jack turns up to speak to him, makes him an offer to work on his new project - bring down his old man. At first Adam declines until Jack....watch this scene carefully - really, really good!! Adam accepts. "I'm in."
Paul sees Nikki in CL, joins her. Wants to talk about Victor and what he was doing in Mexico. He wanted to give her a heads up because questions about him are going to begin flooding in. She tries calling him, he unplugs the phone, pats Zapatto, sips booze, loud opera music, stare at sketch of Sabrina. Creepy.

Cane asks a shocked Jill to step down immediately (from CE??).
Jeff asks Jack what they're next move should be. They'd make a hell of a team.
Amber tells Jana that she's tried all of Liam's numbers and no luck reaching him. "Where the hell could he be?" Jana says she's sure he'll turn up.
I think he's real alright. In the preview Amber was talking to Jana about not being able to find him anywhere, Amber wouldn't continue a charade with Jana if Liam was just a made-up guy, non?
I'm guessing that Liam is not only really Billy Abbott, but Chloe's baby daddy too. Have there been any news reports about any other new characters introduced on Y&R? The only one I've read anything about is Billy.
Somewhere over at SOC there's a first air date for Billy posted. It must be coming really soon. Cane turning on Jill would make the perfect time to reintroduce her other son. I wonder what prompted Cane to do that. Any idea?
I shouldn't jump to the conclusion that Cane was asking her to step down in the business - it wasn't in the preview, but they were in her office. Maybe he was talking about a personal issue, like Chloe, but she did use the term "step down" and it's not usual to use that term for personal stuff. We'll have to wait until tomorrow, I guess.
That's probably the only logical conclusion, as ridiculous as it sounds having a guy who could barely find the corporate washroom firing the woman who made his career as anything other than a construction worker possible in the first place, lol. Cane and Adam should make friends. They have a lot in common. *snort*
