It's a REALLY humid day here - gah. The Ike rains are going to start up again later today and there's a weather watch on all the radio stations, TV too.

We just ran a little errand, back home waiting for Nick to start moving back in from the friend's condo. If he has the good sense to get it over with before the rain comes, I'll have to congratulate him. I doubt he will, lol.

Mike has to leave for the airport at 4 in the morning tomorrow for his flight back down to Dulles and the drive up to WV. It'll be another 7 weeks of that. He amused me to no end the other day telling me about the two air cannons they have there in the office. Have you ever experienced one of those fun things? I want one!!

Anyone have a pear chutney recipe? I have a huge bunch of them from Lois and Don's back yard, and I need to address that this week.

Jojo, these little air cannons don't hurt you. They're like a little waste paper basket with a cylinder inside and when tou activate it, a puff of air shoots out as if it were a ball. Poof!! Like a little soft paw patting on you. It's a distraction, I guess, lol.
