This is the chutney making day. Thank goodness my friend Marilyn has all the necessary gadgets like scales and huge cooking vats. I'm off in half an hour to go buy the canning jars at Canadian Tire, then over to her house for hours of chopping, peeling and stirring. Can you smell it already? Yummy stuff.

I don't know what I am doing today besides work but I can tell you that I wish I lived by you. That pear chutney sounds wonderful.
The guys here are excited because I brought in a bag of candy pumpkins mixed in with the corn. Only as silly as it is they like the pumpkins the best even though they are both essentially the same thing. I need to get some Halloween sticky things to put up in my little office here. I love this holiday. Its the best
This has been a really huge allergy season - mucho pollen in the air. Up side of this is that the bees are happy little campers and the honey supplies will be excellent this year! Shelly, can you try some eucalyptus oil in a heater gadget, smell deeply, to help clear your sinuses?
