Daniel's alone with his art work at the gallery and can't take his eyes off that one pic of Amber's back, one that Billy said he wanted, and that Natasha put the sold sticker on. He removes it. Along comes Colleen.
Amber at a bar drinking, in comes Billy who says she ditched him but joins her, asks her to hang out. Sure, and he toasts her beauty as Daniel's inspiration. She's flattered.
Jill gets a call that she's been cleared in the David Chow affair, greatly relieved. She's going out to celebrate.
Lauren invites Eden, River's daughter to come in. Snippy little thing says that since Michael is responsible for River's imprisonment, he has to get him out.
Jill visits Cane's house, Chloe says he's not there, back soon. Jill will wait for him in her car, Chloe snarks that it wouldn't kill her to come in and spend time with the mother of her grandchild.
Billy and Amber as he continues to flatter her and along comes Lily looking for Colleen. Colleen's with Daniel who is in a pout because Billy showed up at his show and he's bummed that he used a fake name with Amber - he's a player. Colleen defends Billy, says he's a regular guy. (Yeah, Shelly, CC and Billy are two peas in the pod. It really is a shame they're blood relations.)
While Amber's in the ladies, Lily fills in Billy on the connections between her, Amber, Daniel and Cane. He thinks he'd better meet this brother of his.
A lot of people at SOC think that Lily and Amber will wind up being buds. I think that would be good. I don't like Colleen. She really is awfully shallow. I mean the way she talks about Daniel in front of her supposed best friend who also happens to be his ex wife is appalling. Apparently the friend code doesn't apply here
River in jail. He's being accused of terrorism (because of the bomb) and he couldn't be facing a worse charge at this time.
Gah, that snippy brat is demanding all sorts of things from Michael. Mike will go down to the courthouse to see what, if anything he can do, but don't expect him to be home tonight.
Cane with Kay and Esther shows off the sonogram pic. Esther's all excited about her grandchild and that she will be related to Kay after all these years. Kay makes a slip of the tongue and calls the baby Lily's. Cane corrects her. Kay changes the subject with a wave of her hand and a "whatever".
Chloe with Jill talks about the sonogram. Jill is civil but stoic.
Back at the gallery, Colleen is all over Daniel, undresses him, he backs her up to a wall....oh, that was just a bad fantasy of Amber's. Colleen and Daniel are just hanging out as she asks him why he's so upset over Billy and she realises Daniel still had feelings for Amber. He says they're friends. CC wants him to see her (CC) as something more and they kiss. Now she really DOES undress him.

Friends DON'T date their best friend's ex's. It IS part of the friendship code among women and CC is a snotty little pissy brat who can't hold anything sacred but her own agenda - kind of like her father, lol. Amber and Lily are both going to get screwed over by CC, so that might well bring them together as friends, but for now, Lily is still on her dislike of Amber, so I think it will take some time.
Back to the show...
Lauren tries to be hospitable to Eden, offers to phone her mother. Kid says she's been dead for 15 years. She takes advantage of Lauren's kind offers, but overdoes it - poor manners, lol.
Mike at River's cell, asks for an explanation of Eden. Her mother was the grad student he was involved with (that got him kicked off the faculty). Eden was born while he and the mother were on the run. The mother took off shortly after Eden was born - she had a big drug problem, then died. River raised her at the Ashram (and failed to teach her any manners).
Cane comes home, shows Jill the sonogram. Jill asks Chloe to leave them alone. Chloe uses "your grandchild" line AGAIN. Ugh.
CC and Daniel join Lily, Amber and Billy at the bar. Amber's visibly upset to see them so she fawns all over Billy and acts like a very loose young lady. Amber and Billy (who is obliging CC's request to spend lots of time with Amber) leave together for a nightcap in his hotel room. CC's pleased.
Back at Cane's house, Jill tells her son that she's going to move full speed ahead now that she has been cleared and she and Cane will be partners at CE in getting rid of Katherine. Cane does not look impressed, almost horrified.
Esther is alarmed that Kay's short term memory is faltering and wants her to see a doctor. Kay storms off, demands that Esther not mention anything to Jill about this.
Mike agrees to take care of Eden at River's request. Another old hippie turns up as River's attorney, if he wants him. They shake on it. Mike's aghast, lol.
After making love, Billy and Amber go at it again. (I don't think there's any doubt that Billy is using her.)
Lily gently warns Daniel that there is nothing worse than not being with the person you are in love with (as it pertains to Colleen and/or Amber in his life). She's slightly tuned into Daniel's abiding feelings for Amber, doesn't want her best friend to get hurt.
Chloe manipulates Cane into giving her a hand massage because they ache and she can't take anything for it. She looks quite pleased with herself.
Jill catches Kay referring to Chloe as Lily and Esther tries to cover for her boss. Jill notices big time!
Mike tells Lauren about the idiot old hippie lawyer, in barges the brat, mouths off, says she's leaving. Mike stops her. He says if she (Eden) stays with them, he'll do whatever he can to help her father.
Daniel replaces the sold sticker on that portrait of Amber!

Kevin to Gloria, "You're hiding something, dammit, Will you tell me what's going on?"
Nick asks his dad what happened in Mexico, what did he do.
Sharon tells Phyllis that since she's so interested in where Jack is, he's in LA with Ashley. Phyllis asks her why Jack didn't take her with him.
(I don't think there's any doubt that Billy is using her.).
I kind of don't think there is any doubt that she is using him either. I am curious where they are going with this Kay stuff. I hope Jill doesn't try and have her committed
Kay's alter, Marge, is supposed to be coming back. Could be that's where this is leading? If they give Kay Alzheimer's it would be pretty difficult to keep her around much longer. I don't think they'd do that to Jeanne Cooper.
Yes, Amber is using Billy to compensate for Daniel's affair with CC. BUT, and here's the big difference; Amber is actually looking for love and distraction while Billy couldn't care less. He just wants to get laid. Amber has become convenient for him and he did make a sincere promise to Colleen. Of the two of them, each using the other, Amber NEEDS someone now, Billy doesn't need her, he finds her convenient.
Yes, I did. Tonya lives in Toronto, does a film festival of sorts here and is pretty dedicated to it, so she won't be back for a long stay, just several episodes. She's in the papers here from time to time so I've kept up with her a little. Maybe she'll keep Brad's toes warn at night again, lol. I thought that was a pretty hilarious pairing, given that I'm not exactly a fan of Ashley's. (It WAS Brad wasn't it? When Ashley first let it slip that she stole Victor's swimmers for her own spermination to have Abby and Brad was a little miffed?)
I meant to comment on Billy. I didn't mind David Tom's Billy when he and Mackenzie were falling in love. I liked him in a so-so way when the nuBilly was brought in and the nuMac. But when nuBilly the second came back for John Abbott's funeral, and they wrote him as a spoiled brat, a gambler and a braggart, that did it, and I absolutely couldn't stand him. Ditto this version of Billy. I do like the actor, though, just not the character he's paid to portray.
