Jack and Adam in the Mexican bar are looking for clues about Victor's adventure there. Bartender denies he knew Victor.
Heather tells her father she wants to learn the truth about Mexico too, for Adam's sake.
Doc examines a still unconscious Victor. Nick calls his sister, find mom and get to hospital, dad collapsed.
Mike is furious that Jeff turned River in. Kid mouths off again. Gah. (Poor Mikey!!) he's off to ssee Jeff, then River.
Nikki and Victoria arrive at hospital. Nick tells his mother that Victor talked about "making things worse" when he went to Mexico.
Heather and Paul again, on about Victor and Mexico. She suspects Paul is protecting Nikki - she knows something. She almost faints again.
Adam and Jack knocking back vodka, bond a little. Adam blames Nikki for this whole mess and Sky would still be alive if it weren't for her. Adam wants to see the Newmans suffer for that. Jack says he might just get that opportunity.
Mike confronts Jeff for calling the cops, Gloria defends him. Jeff admits it.
Doc says dehydration and lack of sleep caused the collapse. He did this to himself. Nick and Nikki are horrified.
More Jack and Adam. Adam's drunk, says he put himself through Harvard by playing poker. Jack surprises Adam with he news that he and Adam's mother were friends. Jack says he was sad to see Hope leave GC, but understands why she had to. Jack puts the bug in Adam's ear that Victor could easily have given them money. Adam's Hmmmmm.
Paul takes Heather back to the hospital - she's dizzy.
Lauren gets a call - they are moving River tonight, not in the morning.
Jeff and Michael argue, Gloria gets involved, siding with Michael against her husband.
Heather in hospital - learns she has Epstein-Barre. No cure, rest and relaxation only way she can get better. Nick runs into Heather and Paul, tells them about Victor.
Victoria goes to her father, Nikki, too. He's awake now, he tells them to get out. In comes Nick. V accuses Nikki again of killing his wife and unborn child. Get out.
Lauren takes Eden to see her father. Lots of tears as he tells her it'll be okay, blah, blah. Lauren looks on, sees what a kind and good father he is.
Oh boy. Gloria sings River's praises to Michael.
Victor summons Michael to the hospital, won't see River until tomorrow, he has lots of time, needs to put out this fire first.
Heather ignores doc and Paul's warning to avoid all stress and leaves her hospital room to spy on the Newman drama.
Victoria wants to have Victor committed to a psych ward. Nikki disagrees, Nick has to be the tie-breaker.
Heather tries to talk to Victor about Adam. GET OUT, GET OUT.
Jack and Adam - Jack says there's no limit to the things Victor will do for revenge, recounts a few of them, put his sister in loony bin even. He amuses Adam with the fact that he and Nikki were married once, until he tells Adam how Victor caused Nikki to fall down the stairs and lose their son. Gah from Adam. How does he get away with all this? "Because he can, and let me warn you, you're next."
Paul advises Nikki to back off trying to help Victor, says he'll stop by and talk to him for her.
Whoa! Victor tells Heather that he has nothing but contempt for Adam. Good scene!!! GET OUT NOW! Paul is there now. She tells him, out in the hall, that Victor is hiding something.
Lauren advises River to tell Eden the truth about why he is arrested, as she does not know the truth. River swears he is innocent.
Gloria apologises to Lowell that Jeffery turned him in. Lauren's frantic that Michael doesn't know about the early transfer. Gloria's blindsided by the existence of Eden, that he raised her but abandoned her and Michael.
Doc tells Heather no kissing! She'll be discharged in a few minutes.
Jack enumerates the evidence they have in Victor's Mexican adventure, and if they can tie it together, they'll have a hell of a story to sell. Adam suggests they hire someone to forge Victor's handwriting and fake a story written by Victor himself. Jack's intrigued with the idea.
Mikey overhears Nikki, Nick and a doc discuss committing Victor. Michael's with Victor now, as V demands Mike get him out of there or he'll press charges against the hospital.

Someone over at SOC said the episode sounded kind of ho-hum. I think it sounds okay. I was wondering what was wrong with Heather. I have never heard of this disease though, may have to look it up
And someone else over there said they think Adam may be redeemed in the future...So we shall see about that
Epstein-Barre is kind of like mono, same symptoms but can turn much more dangerous. It's a virus. In Heather's case, it's not too bad but she does need to avoid all stress, lots of R&R. No way can she and Adam get all cozy until she's completely better. I think that was the point of giving her this illness. There's a really good chance that she has already given it to Adam, since it, like mono, is transferred by saliva.
Adam redeemed? Okay, lol. He was drunk and kind of funny today. But a "good guy" doesn't suggest faking a diary to sell a story and ruin VVictor, does he? That was crucial today. Was it not in SOC's day ahead?
This epi did have a lot of Eden in it chewing up the scenery, so in that way, it wasn't all that good, but there were a few gems, not the least of them was the Heather and Victor scene. That alone would make it worth the 40 minute it takes to watch the tape.
The River/Lowell story is taking front burner now, with Lowell being revamped from an annoying idiot old hippie into a caring and thoughtful father. Eden is really awful, unfortunately, and Y&R doesn't do that very often. Her scenes seem so unnecessary and if I weren't recapping, I'd ff them. I don't care at all about that s/l. Not even Mikey can save it for me.
Of course the letter/story thing wasn't in their day ahead. You know that whoever does it over there isn't very good. And maybe he backs out, or tells Daddy about it...Who knows. Maybe he ends up donating something to save Victor
There was a long term spoiler/rumour that at the end of the day (whatever that means) Victor will have a change of heart about Adam and realise he was too harsh with him.
Jack was really fueling poor Adam today, pouring him vodka after vodka and fanning the rage Adam felt towards Victor. I really didn't like to see that. (You know how I love Jack.) Adam was drunk as a loon too when he suggested they write a story without really having one and faking Victor's handwriting. That's all kinds of against the law, isn't it? At least it's morally corrupt.
Oh, almost forget! There was innuendo today that Jack has figured that Victor probably killed Walter. Yesterday too. And Victor said to Nick that he went to Mexico to make things right but instead he made everything worse. Does Victor have a conscience???
