Colleen is looking for a real job, chats with Cane who got some decaf for Chloe at CL. He wants Chloe to go see her mother, tells her to suck it up, do right by her mother.
Kay tells Esther that she's afraid that there is something terribly wrong with her.
Gloria asks Kevin to dig up all the dirt he can on Katherine since he's the only one in the family still at Jabot. He's to find evidence that Kay's losing it so Gloria can take over the company, they'll have lots and lots of money. He agrees.
Back in NYC, all the Abbott's have breakfast. Jack wants the girls' proxies for Jabot.
Cane sees Lily at the office. Long stares. Sad. She quits Jabot.
Kay is having memory lapses. Esther advises her to see her doctor. Chloe and baby talk. Esther hopes that one day she and her daughter will be close, Kay thinks it's her fault for Chloe being so distant. Chloe shows up, snarks she won't be forgetting getting shipped off to boarding school soon.
Ashley thinks Jack is jumping the gun a bit by toasting to their takeover of Jabot. Good Abbott scene!! Jack asks them all, just this once, to trust him.
Chloe continues with her getting shipped off again, reduces Esther to tears.
Cane appeals to Lily to stay at the company, but nope. She sees that Cane has the sonogram pic on his computer and that clinched it for her.
Abbotts depart the restaurant. Tracy and Billy will give their proxies, Ashley will not, not until Jack tells her who the secret partner is. He asks her to trust him, again. Hugs. Billy and Jack linger behind for a chat. Billy's heading back to GC, home again.
Kevin sucks up to Kay at the office. He claims to her that he's going to be around the office more often now, make himself more accessible to the people at Jabot. Kay teases that he's hitting on her, grosses him out.
Esther asks Chloe who the man is that broke her heart now that she has sworn off love forever.
Jack is proud of Billy, really turned his life around when he was overseas. Billy says he swore off gambling and House of Kim is now in the black. Jack asks him to stay in GC permanently, there's something he needs him to do for him now.
Jill interrupts Cane and Lily. Lily tells Jill she is leaving Jabot. Shocked Jill, off goes Lily. Jill asks Cane what happened. He says softly "I lost her".
Jack and Billy focus on "their mission" - regaining control of Jabot. Jack asks him to be the inside man, Billy agrees!
Gloria presses Kevin on his Kay project. He quizzes Kay, tests her memory but Kay passes with flying colours. Funny.
Jill looks for a replacement for Lily, having a hard time finding someone. She tries helping Cane feel better about what he's doing, but he does not love Chloe, so this commitment to her is so hard.
Esther and Chloe share a moment of bonding and Chloe begins to talk about the heart-breaker in her life. She admits that she still loves him, but not as much as she hates him. (It has to be Billy/Liam, eh?)
Kay says she's sorry to hear that Lily quit, does Cane want her to talk with her? No, leave it alone. (ARGH!! Why doesn't anyone check out this paternity business? So silly!!) Cane agonises over losing Lily, has to figure out a way of staying connected with her.
Lily and Colleen yak about the Cane situation, lots of sighs. Colleen calls Chloe a bitch, gets everything she wants. Lily agrees that she ought to start dating again. If that perfect guy walks in, what has she got to lose?
Lily tells Chloe that she quit her job today, did it for herself, not for her or for Cane. Lily never wants to see Chloe's face again, ever.
Cane offers Colleen Lily's old job as the Fresh Face of Jabot. How would she like to come test for it?
Kevin tells Gloria that Kay has 100% of her act together. Then, back at the Chancellor house, Kay has another huge memory problem.
John's ghost appears to Jack, advises him to look forward, not back. Jack says Nick did him a favour by buying him out of RS, he can now focus on getting Jabot back. John warns Jack to be very careful what he shares with his little brother. He doesn't think twice about biting the hand that fed him!! Jack pauses thoughtfully.
Billy shocks the heck out of Jill, huge hug! Billy fakes being thrilled to see her too as he cringes during their hello hug.

Amber's all excited that Billy is back in town. Daniel asks what he wants. She tells him that Billy wants to come over to her place.
Jill introduces Cane to his brother Billy.
Nick to his mother, concern about dad wandering around out there someplace. She tells him "that's his choice if he wants to give up his life, don't let him steal your life too".
This Cane/Lily/Chloe thing drives me nuts, its the worst soap plot ever to come about
Oh yes!! And now that Lily has agreed that she might as well start dating again, and it will HAVE to be Billy, the REAL father of the baby that broke her and Cane up permanently.... Oh, please!
Jack was amazing today in his appeal to his 3 siblings. Wonderful scenes there. And I love that Jack has the wisdom not to trust in Billy too much. Thank goodness for that! It would be a great antidote to the Lily/Cane/Chloe nonsense if Jack pulled off this Jabot coup.
I noticed that that other recap left out the IMPORTANT bit about the man that broke Chloe's heart. Chloe described him as selfish and arrogant to Esther. It just had to be Billy Abbott posing as Liam. Jack and Billy talked today about the jet setting life Billy had. That would certainly explain how Billy managed to see Chloe often enough to impregnate her. And it would also explain the so called paternity test. But did Chloe know those two were brothers? How else could she have felt so confident that Cane wouldn't be ruled out? And then why wouldn't she have gone after Billy because of it? Yep, dumb story!
The only thing I can think of, is that Chloe wanted to stick it to Kay for sending her away, by sticking with Billy it wouldn't because he isn't the Chancellor heir, Cane is. I am fairly sure that Chloe knew what she was doing from day one.
Someone on the other board was wondering if maybe Marge is already on the show. Like maybe Kay hired her to be her while she was off doing who knows what. It would explain why Kay has been acting so weird
