As Michael tells Lauren that piece of paper Gloria unearthed could definitely get Lowell out on bail as early as this evening, Lowelll phones Eden telling her he's getting out of there tonight (a break-out?).
Noah approaches Eden, chat, he asks her to go to the French Club outing, but she calls them all geeks and leaves.
Victoria announces to a press conference that Nick is coming back to NE. Nick says he'll split his time between RS and NE. Heather and Adam watch it on TV, Adam goes nuts, is angry. wishes he'd never heard of the Newmans. She encourages him, says NE will one day probably be his. He leaves to go meet Jack.
Nick calls Sharon, please come see him at NE. He then offers her her old job back as spokesmodel for Beauty of Nature.
Jack meets Adam at GCAC, hands him a list of potential forgers who could work on VN's diary, and he's narrowed it down to a Frank Ellis, Jack uses Adam's cell phone to call Frank, says he can call him Victor, arranges to meet him at CL today.
Lauren tells Mike that Lowell has been taken to hospital. He was on the phone, then fell over vomiting
Victoria asks her mother about what she knows about Mexico, she won't drop it, so tell her! Nikki says alright, but get your brother here too, She doesn't want to have to tell it twice.
Nick talks Sharon into taking the job, yeah, she would be working with Nick, but they do have to be careful about Jack who's a little sensitive about her and Nick.
Doc tells Lauren and Nike that Lowell is in and out of consciousness. Mike leaves to go meet the guy at GCAC that can make the bail arrangements for Lowell and Lauren will stay behind at the hospital.
Nikki tells her kids about Walter and the possibility that Victor killed him. THAT's what she'd been hiding from them. Nikki goes on to say that it was Heather that started this whole thing by making the connection between the dead man photo and Palin. All wonder how Heather got her hands on that photo. (It was Adam, of course.)
Eden talks her way into her father's hospital room, takes her bag with clothes for him in there too. She slips her father a hairpin. Lowell is actually awake, and as soon as everyone leaves his room, he takes the hairpin and tucks it under the blankets of his bed.
Jack finagles the circumstances and manoevers Adam into meeting Frank Ellis at CL. Adam meets him, but he's uncomfortable doing so. (Good for you, Jack, lol.)
Nick fills in Mike about the Walter Palin and the Mexican police story, begs Mike to tell his father what's going on. Mike reluctantly agrees, says he'll try.
Eden talks Lauren into leaving her there alone at the hospital, she needs to be there for her father when he wakes up. (All part of the plan, I assume.)
Sharon breaks the NE news to Jack and Noah. Jack's not too thrilled and she senses it. Jack flashes back to catching Nick and Sharon hugging.
Frank has some requests from Adam to do the forgery, then wants to know how much he'll be paid. Adam slips him a figure, OKAY! Then Heather walks into CL, Frank says he knows her, she prosecuted him in Chicago. Adam stands quickly and greets her with a kiss. Squirmy Frank. Adam lies to Heather about what he was doing with Frank. Heather buys it.
As Eden chats up the guard outside her father's hospital room, Lowell frees himself from his shackles and leaves a note addressed to Michael Baldwin.
Adam calls Frank who is really nervous about his (Adam's) connection with Heather. Adam asks him if he's in or out.
Adam calls Jack, tells him about the Heather incident with Frank, but it's all okay now and Frank's in. Jack says "good", hangs up just as Sharon reenters the room. Then he LIES to her, says that the deal he's been working on just fell apart. (So many lies today, lol.) Jack encourages Sharon to take the job at NE. Happy Sharon, pretending happy Jack. As Jack exits the room, Noah comes in and asks his mother if she and Nick are getting back together, because of the hug he saw the other night. She says NO, she has a husband and that hug was a friendly one, of gratitude.
Mike is thrilled he got bail for Lowell. At that very moment, Lowell jumps out of his second storey hospital room and Eden, hiding around the corner, sneaks out of the building.
Nick gives Nikki and Victoria the bad news that all the phone numbers Mike had for his father are disconnected. Nikki says that since the police are already following her, why doesn't she take them on a nice wild goose chase.

A bunch of cops at Mike and Lauren's door ask them if they knows where River Baldwin has gone. Michael is shocked. "Gone?"
Nikki whispers to her kids that "they think we know a lot more about your father than we really do".
A scene with Jack and Sharon talking to Cane about changing an eye care line. Cane says that times change and they have to keep up with them. (Prelude to the tainted cream thing, I guess.)
It wasn't the greatest day - so much Eden and Lowell.
CLB is doing the best anyone could with his lines and this horrible story, but not even he can get me to care at all about it. Best part about any of it is Jeffery, lol. Love the way he crystalized the whole mess Lowell has caused. He's the only one who has read that dippy goon the riot act. Michael did, sort of, but Jeff was priceless yesterday.
