One woman recalled how her youngest child had relinquished her pacifier to this Santa when the time came, and the management company's email box was so flooded with emails that they were beginning to bounce. The CEO's name and salary ($2.5 million) was circulated around the internet, and the Mall manager was being inundated with nasty calls.
A lot of very pissed off rich people who frequent that mall (very high end) were threatening a boycott, and customers who would come from out of state just to see this Santa, were furious. I imagine that the mall's retailers weren't happy with the management company's decidion either!

LOL, great news!! I thought that might happen. Somebody in management is going to lose THEIR job over that really bad decision and the almost irreparable damage done to the reputation of the mall. Keep us posted, Moore.
Yeah, I thought it pretty much had to turn out this way too. I was reading the various posts yesterday on the Washington Post's website, and they were great!
