Thanks for all of the birthday wishes, and I saw some messages from you guys on the big board too. It meant a lot.
I've been gone all day, hanging that Christmas tree with dolls, and as soon as I got home (just before 4:00 pm), the doorbell rang. I thought it was going to be campaigners, but it was my neighbor holding a basket of something for me from Arizona Daughter: A big balloon, and a "bouquet" of chocolate dipped fruit.
I want to tell you that the chocolate dipped fruit couldn't have arrived at a better time because I was absolutely ravenous! No breakfast this morning, and no lunch either. I consumed about six grapes, half a banana, a slice of pineapple, a strawberry, and an orange section, all dipped in chocolate, inside of about two minutes! LOL...
The mail held a birthday card from a childhood friend of mine, and a card from same Arizona daughter that had been decorated all over with glitter hearts. I also had a ecard from my oldest. Nothing from my son yet, but he knew that I would be away today.
I think that my hunger has been sated momentarily, and I really ought to save some of this fruit (there's plenty) for James...
