Hey all, where is everyone. I keep peeping back in here to see if anyone started a daily thread only to see that no one has. I am here at work and a little bored but I started the day attempting to watch The New Adventures of Old Christine on the web. I couldn't find the full episode though so had to watch in bits. But it was still funny and proved to wake me up better then coffee could have anyways. I was bad last night at dinner and had diet pepsi. The caffeine kept me up almost all night long. I almost called in sick so that I could sleep but I haven't missed a day yet and really don't want to start until I have to. I figure towards the end of my pregnancy there may be days when I just need to rest and not sit in a desk all day.
I woke up this morning craving fruit. So I got a banana at the gas station on my way to work and it seemed to curb the craving for now. I may have to go to the store tonight and buy some more though. It was good and is a really healthy snack. Also healthy is the venison jerky one of the guys here brought in. He used some kind of BBQ sauce and its a really sweet flavor. Very good...
So what is everyone up too? This place is awfully quiet.
I'm about to leave to help d-i-l who is now keeping food down but has a dentist appointment, so I'll stay with the little guy for a couple of hours. Afterwards, a few errands, then home until it's time to pick up Ted from the subway around 6, but I don't much like driving in the dark and it's pitch black here by 5:30. We'll see what happens as the day unfolds.
Shelly, fruit is GOOD for you and those babies!! Can't you eat as much fruit as you like?
Shelly, you're wise to save up as many days as possible at the job. I'll bet you're going to be feeling a bit tired towards the end of your pregnancy!
I think I'm still trying to adjust to the time change. I haven't been sleeping well, and as KaeEll points out, it's dark so early now that I want to go to bed at 8:00 pm, but don't because that would be ridiculous. I'd be up at 4:30 a.m.!! Anyway, there's not much going on here, so not much to post. And, I want to take a nap... Shelly, I must be having sympathetic pregnancy symptoms! LOL...

Man moore I gotta tell you I give you props for being such a great moderator. I was just over at the AMC board and really for the last few weeks that poster Bianca something or other. She is so harsh. Its like sheesh.
Moore, thanks for asking. No, I don't feel any better, in fact considerably worse. I went to babysit and had to call Tony who just got back from California to come home because I felt too dizzy to take care of Q. I've eaten nothing all day and don''t want to. Blech, the flu, I guess.
Awww, KaeEll, I'm so sorry that you're not better. And WORSE!! That sucks bigtime.
Shelly, you just don't KNOW how much I wish wish wish that I could share, but I would be shot at dawn! Sometimes, it's the emails, though, that are worse than the posts! You wouldn't believe...
Sometimes I wonder if anyone has EVER bothered to read the rules. They aren't rocket science afterall, and yet we have these ridiculously clear violations that ANYONE ought to know aren't allowed. Then, they protest to the mods when something is purged, or if that doesn't work, to Dan that they didn't DO anything! He then asks us what happened, and we send him copies of a bunch of posts that blatantly violated the rules, and it's just laughable! Another popular protest is that of censorship. I can't tell you how many times I've had to explain to people that it's a PRIVATELY OWNED BOARD, and that the owner gets to set the rules. If the rules are broken, posts are edited or deleted. Simple. No censorship. The moderators are NOT allowed to delete or edit anything that doesn't violate the rules; we cannot delete something just because we don't like the way it was phrased, or the language used (unless it's profanity), etc., etc. It has to violate the rules...
Oy!
