JAck calls Ashley - it's D-Day, in comes Gloria all excited about the take-over. Jack urges her and Jeff to stick to the script, he is to be consulted about EVERYTHING.
Jill tells Cane and Chloe that everyone of the share holders is very nervous about this meeting, as is she.
Raph, the lawyer, advises Tyra NOT to visit Ana at her lunch break at school, need to follow all the rules. This could drag out for several weeks. Karen rolls her eyes as Tyra blubbers on Neil's shoulder. Olivia looks on with curiosity.
Esther tells Nikki that she can NOT find that ring anywhere. Nikki really wants that ring to remember her dearest friend in the world. Pearl, meanwhile, tells Marge/Kay that her ring is as real as they come. Kay looks at it again. Hmmm.
Jill is pissed off that Cane went rushing off to the Winters upon hearing the Ana news. Then Jill smart-mouths off to Jeff and Gloria who arrive at the meeting, and again to Jack as he turns up. She reminds him about Andrew Gibson.
More Tyra drama at the Winters. Karen is getting impatient. Billy's there, ignoring calls from Jack to get his butt to the meeting. Argh. Neil is rubbing Tyra's shoulder to comfort her. Knock, knock. It's Cane. Lily answers. "What are you doing here?"
Brad turns up at the meeting and gets some snark from Jill. Funny Brad, lol. Kevin's there now too.
Chloe leaves a desperate message for Cane to get back to the meeting, and along comes Colleen and MORE snarkiness between the two young women. Here comes Nikki now, demands that Jill turn over to her Katherine's emerald ring.
Kevin wants Gloria to announce his big promotion today but Gloria declines, she might not get there today, lol.
Ugh as Jill gives Nikki hell about bothering her important agenda with the trivial ring business.
Olivia warns Lily about hanging around with Billy, he is Cane's brother, and that's trouble. Then Karen confesses to Olivia that she is worried that Tyra is too dependent upon Neil. Olivia says she's sees it too.
Back at the diner, more discussion about the ring. Kay says she feels like a stranger in her own skin, wishes she could remember.
Nikki and Jack have a brief conversation about cutting Victor loose. She advises him it's about time he did the same thing.
Jack gives a very uncomfortable Billy a knowing look when he finally turns up for the stock-holders' meeting.
Lily finds Billy's cell phone at the Winters and dashes off to give it back to him at the meeting. When Raph says he's arranged a meeting with Ana at CL, Tyra hugs Neil. Olivia and Karen both look dismayed! (This is really heating up FAST.)
Colleen and Brad sit together at the meeting (which is at GCAC, btw).
Jack reminds Billy that his mother parked him outside the mail room at Jabot while she appointed his bartender brother CEO. "Remember that this is for our dad."
Jill opens the meeting, flanked by her two sons. Nikki leaves in spite of Jack's recommendation that she might want to stick around for this.
Gah. Tyra, Neil, Karen, Olivia and Devon greet Ana at CL. Kid wants to go home now, but nope.
Pearl steals Kay's ring!! Kay had taken it off to go wash her hands, leaving it on the counter.
Gloria stands and announces that there will be new leadership at Jabot, no more Chancellor involvement. Stunned Jill!! Brad's getting a HUGE kick out of this. Great expression on Jack's face! Love that scene!
Kay realises her ring is missing. Pearl has already left the diner with it in her pocket. Meanwhile, Nikki tells Esther that she is calling the police about the ring, that it has been stolen since neither of them can find it anywhere in the house, the safe or the safety deposit box.
Pissed off Jill!! Gloria says that Jill and her son, Cane Ashby, will be out of the Jabot building by the end of the week. AS Jill says no way would she ever allow her (Gloria) and that buffoon husband of hers to run Jabot, Billy stands up and announces that HE will be in charge of Jabot just as Lily comes to the entrance of the room. (Stunned Lily.) That didn't sit too well with Gloria, lol.

Jill asks Billy what the hell he is doing. Billy says "I am part of this take-over".
Jack proposes a toast to the much awaited revival of Jabot cosmetics. Glo and Jeff grimace, lol.
Phyllis on the phone says "Sharon is about to get some very bad news about her husband. I want you to be there to pick up the pieces".
Yes, that's what I think will happen too. Pearl said she watched a lot of the shopping network and knew the ring was valuable. At the same time, Nikki is reporting it stolen, so the cops will find it pawned and that will lead them to Pearl and then to Kay.
I wonder what will happen to Jabot when Katherine comes back. That 5% she left to Gloria was the ticket to the take-over. Gah, poor Jack!
I don't know. I think that Kay likes Jack. She just doesn't like it when he is sneaky. I think that she may understand why he did what he did in regards to getting Jabot back in Abbott hands. Especially if Gloria isn't as in charge as she thinks she will be.
It was too funny today with Jeff, Gloria and Kevin all excited about the take-over and Billy completely blind-siding them with his announcement. I read a spoiler that when Ashley arrives at the meeting, late, SHE will claim the leadership of Jabot for herself, lol. And we know how she feels about Gloria, lol. That's going to be fun to see.
