Mike and Lauren take Lowell back to their place. Eden too and Gloria. Happy faces except for a moping Glo who can't get through to Jeff, just his voice mail. Eden opens a letter containing a cheque for $23,000 and tells Lauren that it was nothing, just junk. (I'll rewind later to see if that's what it really was. ) Crash from the kitchen as Gloria and Michael went back there to make snacks. Lauren and Eden rush back. Lowell is in the shower. Looks like he's moving in with Mike, Lauren, Fen and Eden. (Big condo, lol???)
Jana defends Lowell to Kevin, says he's a good man that the police framed. She then suggests his conscience is bothering him over spending Mrs/ C's money and it should be given to charity. Kevin beetles off on errands, Jana accesses the money stashed in the safe, stuffs it into a paper bag and leaves the coffee shop with the money.
Phyllis runs into Adam at GCAC and chats him up, snark back and forth.
Billy runs through his mind the possibility of being the baby daddy. Cane fusses over Chloe back at their house, fluffs pillows for her, talks to the baby. Jack tries to discuss business with Billy who is distracted by the baby thing. He confidentially tells Jack that the baby Chloe is carrying is his. Jack's dumbfounded!
Kevin and Jana join the rest of the Baldwins in a celebration at Mike's. Eden has a tie tied around her head, looks silly.
Jack asks Billy what he's going to do. Jack tells him he needs to think long and hard about this, but it's very hard to live with a secret as big as this.
Back to Adam and Phyllis as their conversation turns friendlier. She warns him that it's a waste of time trying to get the last word with Victor, then leaves. His phone rings, it's Frank the forger who wants to see him asap. He says if he doesn't get down to the jailhouse right away, he's going to spill everything about the diary to the DA. Victor grabs the phone from Frank and hangs it up. (Looked very much as if Victor forced Frank to make that call.)
Billy runs into Lily at CL, and he asks her why she and Cane broke up since he could see that she still loves him and he could have supported that baby without marrying Chloe. Lily says no, he couldn't. Conversation carries on for a while as Billy tries to get as much information as possible so he could make his own decision.
Adam sees Jack at GCAC, tells him about the call from Frank. Jack says he can't help him, not interested. Phyllis is watching them from a short distance, sees Jack stop in his tracks as Adam continues about what Frank told him about telling everything to the DA including Jack's role.
Cane and Chloe joke around about baby names, Mathilda, Bertha Kay. (Things continue to warm up with those two.)
Mike and Lauren celebrate their anniversary with Jana, Kevin, Gloria, Lowell and Eden, read letters, kiss. Hmmm, glances from Lowell to Gloria.
Jack advises Adam to ignore Frank and don't ever speak to him in public again. Adam leaves, along comes Phyllis to retrieve her bag she left on a chair beside Jack (when she was talking to Adam). She asks him what he and Adam were arguing about, was it the forged diary? He bristles and she needles him about all his spare time, no job, no wife.
More Lily and Billy regarding Cane and Chloe and their platonic marriage. Lily believes it will always be that way.
Esther arrives with a suitcase at Chloe and cane's, she's moving in to help.
Jana asks Lowell for his advice on dishonesty, what happens to a person's soul. Kevin spills the beans that Jeffery lied about the tainted cream being in Korea, that he has it there. Mike and Lauren are shocked.
Adam arrives at the jail and it's Victor who is there waiting for him, not Frank. Victor says he used his new friend, Frank Ellis, to get him there because he knew he wouldn't come if he had asked him. Victor offers Adam a compromise if he (Adam) will help him go after Jack Abbott. Victor discloses to Adam that he knows all about the forgery of the diary.
Jack lies to Phyllis that he and Sharon are working things out between them, he is not giving up on his marriage. She doesn't believe him. He's arrogant, smug, says Sharon isn't running to Nick's arms. She says it's not for lack of trying, rolls her eyes in exasperation. Jack says his wife is not interested in going after her husband, Phyllis sighs, shakes her head, says "then why did I see them kissing on a bridge in Paris". Jack's eyes widen.
Victor recounts the entire story of how he and Jack found his diary, hired Frank, etc. If Adam confesses, he'll use his influence with the DA's office to get him the lightest possible sentence, and he'll do it for Hope.
Jana's on again about Kevin cleansing his soul regarding that money. He needs to give it to charity, to the Ashram. Kevin tells her to drop it.
Mike gives Lauren her anniversary present, a trip to Monte Carlo. Kiss, kiss.
Jana gives Lowell the bag of money as a gift to the Ashram, at least $50,000. but please, keep this between them, a secret for now.
Billy makes a call, says he's decided not to say anything about being the baby's father, that he'll take that secret to his grave. (He must have called Jack who didn't pick up as he's in the middle of the bridge kiss conversation with Phyllis.)
Phyllis answers Jack's questions about the Paris incidence, and she advixes him that if he wants to know more, he needs to talk to his wife about it since they are being so open and honest with each other about everything. John's ghost appears to Jack, advises him to tell Sharon ALL of the truth.
Adam and Victor have a hostile conversation. WOW!! Victor says if Adam walks out of here, he will take him down, along with Jack Abbott. Adam slams his hands on the table, rises, leaves the visiting room. Victor looks grim.
Mike kisses his mother's cheek in thanks for her testimony, then apologises to Lowell for misjudging him. Kevin whispers to Jana that he will give the Ashram $1000. They take a happy, smiling group photo.
Jeff in the hospital with a terrible rash on his face. Doc says "you used your wife's face cream and it burned your face. Is that what happened? "Yeah".
