Lots of flaps as Gloria is fingerprinted, Kevin can't reach Michael (he turned off his phone) and Eden wants answers about her father, is he leaving for California or not. Just then, Michael takes a call from Victor demanding he talk to Heather about Adam immediately. Poor Mikey.
Adam's at the airport, his flight is delayed because of weather. He's really sad and worried, will Heather meet him there or not? (Several flashbacks to yesterday's Adam and Heather scenes.)
Jack confronts Billy about trying to blow him off since the take-over of Jabot because it isn't going to happen. He tells Billy Sharon threw him out of the house because of his sex addiction. Then he goes on to say that Ashley will be a problem and they'll have to tiptoe around her for a while. Argument follows between them, Jack's not pleased as he questions Billy's loyalties. Billy swears he will honour their agreement when the time is right. He has to dash off to see his mother (Jill) as she needs to talk to him. John comes to speak to Jack about how Billy always manages to ooze his charm and walk over any family member that gets in his way.
Marge and the diner people. Lowell is there ordering hot tea.
Eden storms off believing Mike had talked her father into leaving without saying goodbye. Mike tells Lauren that Lowell admitted to robbing the bank, that he went there deliberately to rob the bank and the janitor that died during the commission of a felony is murder. Lowell Baldwin is a full blown sociopath. Mike's really upset.
Sad and upset Heather recalls meeting Adam for the first time, calls her father again, pleads for him to call her back, it's urgent.
Jack and John discuss his obsession with making Victor suffer, how stupid it is.
Jill welcomes Billy in, asks that they put the past behind them.
Mike and Kevin meet with Gloria in jail. She expects Michael to get her out of there immediately, but he can't, it's too late.
Lauren confiscates Eden's phone for now to protect her from getting involved with Lowell, but agrees that she will take her to the ashram herself if she still wants to go there and be with her dad. Kid agrees but still doesn't know about her father's guilt.
Pearl quizzes Murphy about his "stray" (Lowell). Apparently Lowell conned Murphy into paying for his meal. (Remember he has wads of cash on him thanks to Jana.)
Billy and Jill chat. She asks him to leave Jabot and come to Chancellor Enterprises.
Billy asks Jill if he could have a position at CE that is higher than Cane's, causes a problem for Jill. He vents about her favouring Cane, refuses the CE offer. Jill points out that if he did the Jabot thing for the money, he'll be disappointed because he isn't one of the original three Abbotts and the others will cut him out in the end. "I love you mom, just don't want to work with you. " Billy leaves.
Kevin and Gloria mope about her situation. Kevin suggests maybe Jana is right, it is all about karma.
Adam waits for his flight, really sad about Heather not being there.
Mike is with Heather talking to her about the diary and Adam, advises her to recuse herself form the case. ( She's torn between her career ambitions and her love for Adam.) She calls about the flight to London, learns it's delayed , wants to make it there if she has the time.
(Slow day today, huh? Lots of flashbacks in the Heather/Adam story.)
Lowell's still at the diner at the counter. He has yet to see Marge/Kay.
Heather arrives at the airport, she and Adam hug.
Jack and John at the Abbott's house, all decorated for the holidays, no Sharon. John tells Jack it isn't too late for him to turn his life around. Jack said all this started when "they" ran him outta Jabot. Enter Jeff with his rash. He tells Jack about using Gloria's cream on his face. Jack twigs immediately.
Diner scene again. Marge is struggling with memories, particularly about her ring.
Billy texts Lily as "Sonny".
Mike breaks the news to Eden that Lowell lied to them all, used them all, that he was in fact guilty of the bombing, of robbing the bank etc. and that he admitted it all. Mike says he alerted the police who are now looking for Lowell. Kid tells Mike to go to hell. Slam.
Jack asks Jeff a bunch of questions about the cream, learns Gloria is in jail. Jeff tells Jack that Gloria was responsible for tampering with that cream all those years ago. Jack is FURIOUS!
Heather has Adam arrested!! Argh!!
Next:
Murphy asks Marge where she got all that money. Did she rob a bank? Kay twists her hand where the ring had been.
JT and Victoria meet Victor in jail, agree to do whatever he needs.
Adam asks Heather if she would testify for him. Nope, she has every intention of prosecuting the hell out of him.
Poor Michael in all of this!! Here he bent himself into pretzels to get that vile Lowell off, learns he was duped, and then that sneaky Jeff gets Gloria thrown in jail over the cream. I think it's pretty funny that Jeff, of all people, is the one who gives Jack the info that could restore his position at Jabot. But poor Michael stands to lose the most here with Jeff, the scoundrel from the beginning, could stand to gain the most.
I feel the worst for Adam. His scenes today were really good. He didn't say much but his acting was really good. I'm glad that the actor is sticking around.
