Ashley visits Victor, hug and kiss, happy Victor. She tells him Jack denies everything, he's so unbelievable, it's embarrassing. V's having a hard time understanding how Adam could turn on him with such venom.
Adam's being interrogated and claims his innocence.
Marge/Kay is getting ready to leave Murphy's trailer on a "secret" mission for Christmas.
Jeff and Jack discuss Gloria, specifically Glo Again. Jack says what a disaster if this news about his father's widow should come out just as the Abbotts took back control of Jabot. J&J go off together to speak to her in jail. (Jack doesn't want this stunt of Gloria's to become public at all.)
Victor is worried about his diary case if Adam doesn't recant and Ellis's testimony is discounted since he's a felon already.
Meanwhile, Adam sticks to his story with Heather and the DA, holds his own pretty well so far. Heather's not pleased.
At CL, Jana and Jill yap about the food drive and Jill makes a generous contribution in Katherine's name.
Adam continues with his tale about finding the diary. DA asks about Jack Abbott's involvement and he sticks to the same story. Heather's on to his lies asks him what the hell he is doing.
After wrangling with the pawnbroker, Kay gets $10,000 for the ring.
Jeff and Jack visit Gloria (who looks terrible). She lies and lies to Jack, says Jeff set her up. Jack is furious. GOOD SCENE!
Ashley runs into Jill at Jabot and they have a set-to over Jabot and Jill sticking around the company. Jill warns Ashley about Jeff and Gloria stabbing her in the back.
JT and Victoria visit Victor, worry that Heather, who now has Ellis' confession, might be in on the whole thing with Adam. Victor chuckles softly. Wouldn't it be lovely when it's Heather, Adam's lover, is the one to torch him in court. Victor enjoys the irony.
Adam and Heather argue, now alone in her office. He's baffled why she is doing this, they love each other, and why did she tell him to run? She swears she's going to prosecute the hell out of him. He points out that a good defence attorney would tear her to shreds and she could kiss her job good bye AGAIN. (Good Adam scene. He found his brains again!)
Heather tells her boss that she knows Adam is lying, that he is guilty as sin. She promises him she will find the evidence to convict him although she doesn't have enough yet.
Jill learns from Jeff that it was Gloria that tainted the cream. OMG from Jill.
More Jack reaming Gloria as she continues denying everything. Good scene!! Gloria cowers. Jack says she's going to prison for manslaughter.
JT and Victoria with Victor again, V says he trusts Paul to find more evidence in Mexico.
Adam is released, free to go, but don't leave town, they'll be in touch. Heather wants to step down from Victor's case and concentrate on Adam. He belongs behind bars right along with his father. DA says remind him never to cross her.
Kay gives Murphy her stash of cash from the ring but he can't accept it, it's too much. She convinces him, chalk it up to her "philanthropic" spirit. (Kay is coming back into focus, bit by bit.)
Jeff tells Ashley abut the cream , his rash and Gloria. Now Ashley and Jill both want to kill her, lol.
Jack and Glo again. Good stuff. Jack says he'll be in the front row at her trial relishing every minute of it, and he will move heaven and earth to do whatever he can to help them convict her. Squirmy Gloria. (Yes, Jack is brutal but in a restrained way. It's really good! I guess he changed his mind about keeping this all a secret if possible.)
Murphy is surprise that Marge got $10,000, double the offer the pawnbroker gave Pearl. She describes how she got the guy to come up with more money.
Pawnbroker calls someone, says he got his hands on the ring and it's worth at least half a mill. Come and see it.
Ashley calls Jack about Gloria, come and see her asap. She then tells Jeff and Jill that after Gloria is convicted, they will file a civil suit and retrieve every penny she got from John. After Ashley leaves, Jeff tries flirting with Jill, snorts when she rebuffs him. (Funny.)
Short exchange between Jack and Victor as they cross paths in the jail. Nasty.
Adam goes to Heather's place. SAD!! How could she betray him, she broke his heart? No he broke hers. She gives back her engagement ring, kicks him out.
Jana extracts a food drive donation from JT and Victoria. JT gets a text from Paul, says he's on to something in Mexico that will bury Jack and Adam.
