Mike and Lauren visit Kay at the trailer, are surprised she lives in such a modest place.
Kevin and Jana kiss hello after she's back from a business trip. Amber, still crazy as ever about Kevin killing Katherine, reports it to Gil (Tyra's cop friend).
Cane and Chloe, in book store, spy on Billy and Lily giggling and kissing, drop jaws.
Angry Nick is back from NYC, glowers at Phyllis as he arrives at RS. (If looks could kill, lol.)
More Billy and Lily enjoying the kisses and cooing, Cane and Chloe bump into them as they were trying to get away from the "love fest".
Kay starts to remember Lauren but it's just beyond her reach. She and Murphy go into make the tea. Lauren remarks how uncanny it is that this woman resembles Katherine SO much.
Phyllis and Nick chit chat about the RS shoots as tributes to Warhol and Basquiat, but switches to her confession of sending Brad to NYC, no apologies for doing whatever she can to save her marriage. She confesses to ALL of it. Nick's quietly angry, says no way in hell is he going to let her off the hook for messing with another person's marriage.
Daniel catches Amber talking to Gil about Kevin. Not happy with her.
Jana believes Kevin that Katherine is alive, but she's not thrilled that Kevin gave that money back, one way or another. They are broke again.
Mike will arrange for DNA testing to prove Kay is Kay. He says her memories will be the best proof, though, and she needs to see a doctor. Kay isn't very optimistic this will be settled soon, nor is Michael.
Billy watches Cane rub Chloe's belly and recalls doing the same at Christmas. She catches him watching her once Cane leaves.
Nick and Phyllis argue about Sharon, Paris, and who stopped that bridge kiss. She makes a point for her actions. Good Phyllis!!! (Nick is being an idiot here, not getting what Phyllis is saying.) Good Phyllis!! Good scene.
Jana is sullen about the money but she's not mad, just sad. Amber points out Kevin to Gil.
Kay tells Mike best she can figure out is that she and Marge were in the same car the night of the accident. She's desperate to make the people she cares about know who she is without hurting them. She wants her life back in spite of not remembering it.
Nick and Phyllis again as their conversation turns sad instead of angry. Phyllis makes excellent points but then suggests that Sharon probably told him to come up there and let her have it. Nick, resigned and smug, says no, she couldn't be more wrong as Sharon told him to go easy on her (Phyllis). Phyllis sighs in exasperation as she recognises that Nick can't see how he is YET again defending Sharon.
(Shelly, it's not really a FF set of scenes. It's really quite good.)
Cane and Lily chat at the book store, enjoy common interests, obliquely compare themselves to Tracy and Hepburn. Billy goes over to Chloe who is searching the internet dating site looking for Lily's Sonny. He identifies himself as Lily's Sonny Crawford.
Kay and Murphy see Lauren and Mike out, warm thanks both ways. Murphy tells Kay that it was Kevin who gave him the bail money, she says she MUST thank him.
Lily watches suspiciously as Billy and Chloe have a close chat. She's pissed off!
Uh oh. Phyllis turns sarcastic as she goes on about how wonderful and sweet Sharon is. Nick realises she is scared, and this is HER, who she is. But collateral damage is not okay, he loves her, and that isn't going to change. He can't change his past with Sharon, but the question is, can she deal with that.
LOL, Chloe recruits Roger, a business associate of Cane's, as a date for Esther. Roger is very enthusiastic. Mildly funny.
Nick offers his hand to Phyllis, sadness between them, somehow they have to get past all this stuff. Phyllis cries and hugs him. End of fight.
Mike is sceptical of Katherine, remembers how Lowell suckered him. Paul calls him with news of Andrew Gibson and will fill him in tomorrow. Lauren believes that woman IS Katherine, Mike will wait for the DNA, his judgement is shot.
Amber rants and raves like a nut case, pisses off Jana, Kevin yells at her, Kay and Murphy enter CL and overhear the carry-on. Amber collapses as she sees Katherine!! Kay says this is all too much so she and Murphy leave immediately.
"Roger" the guy Chloe set up for Esther, calls someone, says his plan to get "in" with the Chancellors just got a lot easier. (Could this guy be Andrew Gibson?)
Billy doesn't admit to Lily that his past with Chloe involved more than just knowing her as Esther's daughter.
Cane is somewhat concerned that this thing Chloe set up with Roger might come back and bite him in the butt.
Kevin, Jana, Amber discuss that that WAS Katherine at the door. Kay, back at the trailer, remembers Ambler Moore and that she wrote the forward to her book. She vows to stay away from GC and everyone who knew her until this is all settled.
Phyllis calls Brad, tells him his plan to blow up her and Nick didn't work. Taking her on was a mistake that he will regret, hangs up.
Next"
Tyra, all pissy to Neil and Karen, asks what they are trying to do, cut her out of Ana's life? The only one to be adopting Ana is her.
Kevin and Jana visit Gloria in Jail. Glo says that if Katherine gets her memory back, it's bye bye Jabot.
Nikki lectures Michael that Gloria is in Jail and needs to take some responsibility for what she did.
I know that in the past I really tried to be equal about Sharon and Phyllis. But seriously for once I want Phyllis to win it all
I'm right with you on all of that. But I'm afraid that your speculation about Phyllis having something to do with Brad's murder (if there is one) will be dead on. She was very determined to retaliate when she called him at the end of the episode and menacing music was playing. It was a real foreboding.
It was too funny too when Brad answered his phone when Phyllis called him, stuffing his mouth with food at GCAC, sitting there so self- satisfied telling her that she'd end up ruining everything for herself just like she always does. Brad's a goner now, lol.
I don't think that Phyllis would actually CALL the Nazi people, but might inadvertently lead them to him. I do wish that they could have found another person to lead to Brad's demise. Ashley would have been a perfect one to take this role, wipe that self-satisfied smirk off her face for a while.
