Jill and Cane over dinner. She's so glad to have him back at CI, he's the only one she can trust. Gush, gush, she wishes she and Katherine could have talked this way.
Chloe gives Esther a make-over. More gushing, lurve, lurve. Then she gives her mother a black sequin top, a treat for her date with Roger. Meanwhile, Roger, at a bar swilling beer, texts someone that he is waiting for confirmation, will get back with details.
Gina greets Nikki at GCAC, hugs, misses Katherine, tells of the "Marge" visit.
At diner, Pearl tells Kay and Murphy that Joe Jr is on his way in. Murphy gives Kay a pep talk about convincing Joe Jr not to fire her for missing so much work.
Amber rants on about wanting to see Mrs. C, she finally believes Kevin that she's alive. Daniel asks Kevin to please tell him where the look-alike lady lives so he can take Amber to talk to her. He thinks this will put an end to all the Amber craziness.
More Esther and Chloe discussing her blind date. Sort of okay-ish cute. Esther finally agrees to meet Roger. Chloe calls Roger, tells him they are on their way. Roger calls someone, says "it's a go".
Gina stops by Jill and Cane's table, chat. Cane invites Jill to join him and Chloe on Esther's birthday dinner date (including the blind date) but she declines.
Joe Jr fires Marge, but she convinces him to keep her on. Good Kay scene!
Amber pleads with Kevin to tell her how to find Mrs. C., and she will stop all the other craziness.
Roger meets Esther and Chloe and all goes well. It's a hit all round, lol. As Cane gets up and crosses the room at GCAC to join Chloe et al, Gina stops him to tell him about her being once married to Clint Radison, the man that masterminded Katherine's kidnapping with Marge, etc. (Clint Radison is the man Roger is working with to infiltrate the Chancellors, according to a mod over at SOC.) Along comes Nikki and Gina has to seat her with Jill.
Amber finally gets through to Kevin and he writes down Kay's address. Daniel urges Amber to be careful, it could be Marge, the con woman. Nice scene here too! Off they go to the trailer (or the diner).
Then back to the blind date with Esther beaming.
Nikki tells Jill about "Marge's" visit, blah, blah. Kevin admits to Jana he is a little upset about what Daniel was saying to Amber about the con woman, has doubts that it's really Mrs. C. He'd like some confirmation that it really is her, asks Jana to call Mrs. C., in a manner of speaking.
Amber and Daniel arrive at the diner, Pearl seats them. Amber and Kay's eyes meet, flicker of recognition.
Nope, no recognition when Kay takes menus to Amber and Daniel. Daniel notices how sharp "Marge" is at the diner, no memory problems there. Amber persists, they have to stay positive.
Roger and Esther chat away with Chloe and Cane. Nothing much really. It's established that CI has hired Roger. (He's quite the dufus, lol.)
Jill and Nikki bond over missing Katherine.
Jana and Kevin close CL, she prepares for a seance to call up Mrs. C.
"Marge" fails Amber's test at the diner. Sad Amber, as she and Daniel leave, convinced the woman is only a look-alike.
More Jill and Nikki talking about Katherine, that ring is mentioned.
At Esther's bd dinner, all seems to be going well until Roger receives a text and he leaves abruptly, curtly excusing himself.
Roger meets with Clint Radison outside GCAC. He's concerned that this is almost too good to be true and is afraid that Roger will screw it up. (Looks like the same actor from a million years ago.) Roger re-enters the club and joins the party, lies glibly about how his mother kept texting him all night, reassumes his dufus mode and invites himself back to Esther's for a nightcap. Cane and Chloe scowl, lol, but Esther is thrilled!
Jill and Nikki again, getting along really well. They call a truce, it's time to move on.
Funny as Jana tries to evoke Mrs. C. Nothing. Kevin says he's convinced she is alive.
OH WOW!! Amber goes back into the diner, pretends she forgot her cell phone. Mrs. C says no, that isn't hers, hers has sparkles all over it. Amber knows immediately that it IS Katherine, they hug in recognition, tears of joy!!!

In the jail visiting room, Victor sits stoically as Adam, hauled away by guards, yells that Jack took advantage of him.
Jack to Ashley, that to protect the family company, he should be CEO. Ashley smiles and nods.
Abby asks Brad if she can't call both of them "dad" and Brad says "of course you can".
The expression on Ashley's face when Jack said he ought to be CEO was priceless. She's playing jack just as Victor wants her too. Blech to Ashley.
I had goose bumps when Amber and Katherine hugged on the diner. Wonderful scene!
There was something sinister about Brad in the preview too. No way would he ordinarily concede (or share) his father status to Victor so easily. It's as if he has something up his sleeve, big time.
