So what is everyone doing in here today? We have a little birthday party for one of Jojo's friends. But that is about it. Am hoping to get Vinnie to go walk through consignment stores with me just to see what they have. I also decided that I will go ahead and register for a cheap crib. If no one buys then thats fine but if someone does then that would be awesome.
I was also just reintroduced to one of the worst things about military life. We will be losing more friends April 18th. They are moving all the way down to Texas. Won't even get to meet the babies.
Oh, Shelly, so sorry about losing your friends, but that does go with the territory, doesn't it. You always have US here, though. :)
We got up late for us, almost 10 o'clock this morning. Tony's now with Nick in Whistler helping him move into private quarters as he landed the job as House Advisor, sort of like a den mother, for his staff housing building. His rent is only $150/month and he'll keep that job through the Olympics when rents triple. He's really happy about that, especially considering that so many of his pals have lost their jobs there and many have had to return home for lack of money. He's still off his skis with the bad knee but no surgery, we think. It turns out he didn't tear the ACL, only strained it, thank goodness. Now why he was demonstrating a 360 off a mogul is another question.
It's positively balmy here today, lol. Plus 6C!! We're off soon for groceries and other Saturday things, plus a quick stop at Ikea for a queen split box spring for Nick's bedroom here. I can't remember what the heck happened to the original one. There have been so many moving ins and moving outs, beds leaving, mattresses coming, I'm confused, lol. No sooner do I redecorate for empty nesting, somebody asks if they can move back and it's all discombobulated again. I don't really mind, but it is a bit of an upheaval. Mike will be back from NZ in a month and as far as I know, the young lady will follow him here in April. He's talked about getting a flat in Bloor West Village and then there will be yet another shuffle of furniture.
Yes thank goodness for all of you guys. This place has been totally awesome the last couple of years. And thank goodness for the internet period. I can't tell you how many military friends I still keep in contact with after all these years. Some I had actually lost contact with but then found again through the military.
It was actually warm today too. Got up to about 45. Snow is melting a bit. Brandon I hope you are having a good weekend. Not use to seeing you here on the weekends.
Here are some ultra sound pictures. The bottom ones are the most recent. I believe they were 21 weeks. Which was 3-4 weeks ago. We hit 25 at some point next week.
