Nick pouts as Phyllis tries to make everyday conversation. He shows her the bottle that Gil gave him, the one with alcohol in it, the one assumed to be Noah's. He's VERY angry with Noah and will get to the bottom of this.
Sharon's hands are shaking as Jack pours her a glass of wine. (Her nervous breakdown thing here?) He's convinced her to relax with him for a while and just kick back.
Kay is thrilled when Mike and Amber give her the court order for the DNA tests. A tech is on the way to take a swab from her cheek, then will take one from Jill as well. Hugs and smiles all around. Jill, on phone, refuses to take the test, insists that the woman is a fraud, just as she was 20 years ago.
Lauren meets with Daniel at CL, says she was just about to call him about the outfit he wore on the RS cover as she wants to carry it in her store. He tells her it's an Amber original.
Smarmy guy (forgot his name) gives Esther plane tickets to Las Vegas for Valentine's Day, can get married there, please, please. (Oh, Roger)
Tech takes Kay's swab, will have results in 24 hours. Amber and Murphy assure her not to borrow the worry about Altzheimers.
Phyllis asks Mike to please meet her, an emergency. He agrees.
Jack offers Sharon his shoulder, as a friend 24/7, annoys her as he insists she is stressed. Gill arrives at Jack's door with questions about Brad Carlton. Is this a good time?
Esther tells Jill about eloping with Roger tomorrow, and of course Jill warns her about him being a gold digger. Poor dumb Esther, lol.
Lauren offers to take Amber's design and advertise it, along comes Nick to talk to Lauren about Noah and Eden.
Gil asks Jack about Brad's map to the Abbot cabin. Sharon admits that it was her that was at up there and offers to explain why Brad had the directions to it.
Phyllis tells Mike about Nick sleeping with Sharon, and that Nick said he was in love with both of them. Mike is astounded that Phyllis asked Nick to save their marriage. He knows that this charade of calm sanity Phyllis is displaying to Nick will eventually lead to her head blowing off, calls Nick a jackass. (YAY Mikey!!)
More Kay worrying about her memory lapses. Murphy comforts her, assures her he will be sticking with her no matter what. Amber, with Daniel, worries about the same thing. He cheers her up immensely when he tells her about Lauren wanting to market her design.
Lauren and Nick disagree about the alcohol, she says it could have been Noah's idea, he says no way, it was Eden's. Nick says because of this drinking business, Eden and Noah must stay away from one another.
Gil is surprised that Brad didn't stay the night at the cabin, given the bad weather that night. How ironic that was sent away and then saved Noah. Sharon's a mess now, again.
Mike warns Phyllis that she may end up resenting Nick in the end if she continues to act like someone she isn't. She's terrified of losing Nick, she's still in love with him, swears she will never, ever let that woman so close to her husband again. Hug.
Tech informs Jill she will be in contempt of court if she refuses the test. Esther encourages her to take it for her peace of mind.
Doctor calls Kay with her MRI results She breaks down in sobs on Murphy's shoulder. She pulls herself together, calls Amber, definitely NOT Altzheimers or dementia!! Great news!! Ladies exchange I love you's. Kay is sooo happy, she and Murphy hug.
Sharon snaps at Jack when he tries to get her to talk about her anxiety. He offers her any room in his house, no strings, no hovering, he'll stay out of her way. Nick calls her about Noah, plan a meeting tomorrow to discuss this latest problem.
Roger gets a call from Clint to confirm that the marriage will take place and that he'll take a careful inventory of the Chancellor estate. Roger says he will, no worries.
Hmmm. Phyllis reacts calmly and sweetly to Nick over the alcohol and the way they must deal with the Noah/Eden thing. He thanks her for being so understanding, hugs her. She's relieved that she pulled that one off! (She even declined Nick's invitation to her to attend the meeting with Sharon over it.)
Sharon decline's Jack's offer but accepts his friendship 24/7, no questions asked. She leaves, tears up out in the cold. Inside, Jack is overcome as well. (If I weren't so ticked off with Sharon right now, I'd feel sorry for her. It was a good scene.)

LOL, I don't have much sympathy for complete dummies like Esther. She's old enough to have realised that she's not the sharpest knife in the drawer but refuses to take advice, even if it is from Jill. If she were young and naive, I'd give her a break, but she's not. Kay will get her out of the mess she's about to make marrying that creep.
So now I'm ticked off. Over at SOC the day ahead recap is so biased that the inmates are all having a fit over Michael and Lauren "allowing" Eden and Noah to not only see one another but sweeping the alcohol thing under the carpet. Didn't happen that way. I posted a sane rebuttal and as usual, it's totally ignored. Pfft. I ought to know better than to try.
