Nikki interrupts Ashley and Victor as she was looking for Nick who is home celebrating VD with Phyllis and Summer. Her sister is doing much better.
Kay is interrogated by Clint and Annie, insists she is Katherine Chancellor in spite of the lab tests and it occurs to her that the DNA tests were tampered with. Someone didn't want Katherine to be alive. (duh)
Jill and Paul discuss the Marge/Kay problem, Jill is very upset.
Cane holds the baby girl, gushes with pride, she's perfect. He gives the baby to Lily as he's going outside with Billy for firewood. Chloe lapses into unconsciousness. Cane demands to know of Billy what his pregnant wife was doing up there. Nasty exchange. Lily screams for the men to come back inside. It's Chloe, she's bleeding and it won't stop.
Nikki notices the chair with a ribbon, Victor tells her about giving Ashley Brad's seat on the board.
Esther and Roger plan to leave for Las Vegas for their wedding. (uck)
Paul has come up with nothing yet on Roger Wilkes, disappoints Jill, asks him to keep digging. Jill tries to contact Cane and Chloe to ask them to do what they can to convince Esther not to marry Roger in this bug rush, but all lines are down because of the snow storm.
Ashley is surprised that Nikki took the news about the board seat so well, but isn't happy that Victor announced it because she hasn't said yes to it yet. Victor says that she will.
Annie wants Clint to get rid of Marge, why pussy foot around.
Chloe's not doing well. She's scared, begs Cane to promise to take care of the baby, passes out. (Neither Billy nor Lily has told Cane about the real paternity of the baby yet.)
Annie and Clint again as Kay dozes off, rather pretends to. She listens as Clint explains to Annie his plan to take over the Chancellor's fortune and Roger's part in it by marrying Esther. He needs to hang onto Katherine as insurance, as his plan B.
In spite of Jill's best efforts, Roger and Esther leave to elope in Las Vegas.
The guys wrap up Chloe in blankets, Lily has the baby and all leave the cabin to snowmobile to a doctor.
Nikki finds Paul, hugs hello, happy VD, miss one another, more hugs.
Ashley tells Victor she suspects she's being used to stick it to Jack (the board seat) . Naturally, Victor says that's nonsense, he loves her, wants her close to him, blah, blah. (Hard to say whether she buys it this time too. She still has a sour puss look on her face.)
As Jill rushes off to the hospital where Chloe has been taken, she finds Esther and Roger who have yet to leave, gives them the news about the baby.
More Nikki and Paul as he gives her the news about Kay's DNA test not panning out. She's not surprised but wouldn't it have been wonderful if kay were alive.
Kay offers Annie lots of money to help her escape but Clint comes back in and stops the exchange. Clint calls Roger, learns that the LV elopement is again postponed, calls Roger an idiot.
Baby is fine, Chloe needs surgery. As a nurse gives Cane a bracelet to identify him as the baby's father, Billy hangs his head, looks ashamed. (They are all in GC hospital now.)
Have you heard anything on how much longer until Kay gets to be home?
No, I haven't Shelly. This Clint and Annie stuff is silly, really has ruined the story for me. It should have ended with the DNA test, not dragged into this garbage. *sigh*
At GC Memorial, Jill and Esther arrive, hear from Cane the latest. Delirious Chloe relives her romance with Billy.
Chloe's condition worsens as doctors can't stop the bleeding.
Paul and Nikki cuddle in bed after the fact. Love, love, happy, happy. ILY's back and forth. Some Victor talk about the board seat but she says it's more annoying than anything else, so as far as she's concerned, Victor is Ashley's problem now.
Ashely declines accepting the board seat offer until she has discussed it with her family. Victor's pissed off. "So it's Jack as the road block again."
Argh. Clint threatens Kay after Annie tells him Katherine tried to bribe her. Kay reminds him of her knee to his groin the last time they met (20 years before) and he realises that she IS Katherine.
Jill, Esther, Cane, Olivia gush over the baby, Lily looks on as does Billy (still looking very glum). Doctor comes in, says they might not have been able to do enough for Chloe.

She's a pretty woman and all, but OMG, so obvious she's been written in as a sop for those demanding more diversity. If she had been written in as a shameless vixen, I could have stood her, but as this doe eyed lamby-poo, just NO. It would help a little if she could act too.
