I'm listening to a discussion on The View about the fact that Facebook has just changed its service agreement which allows it to retain all of your photos, even after you've deleted them yourself, or no longer have an account!
This service agreement applies to minors as well who, under other circumstances, wouldn't be able to sign a binding legal agreement.
With the changed service agreement, you "hereby grant Facebook irrevocable perpetual nonexclusive transferable, fully paid worldwide license to use, copy, publish, stream, store, retain, display, transmit, scan, format, modify, edit, frame translate, adapt, create derivative works, and distribute" ... anything you put on there!

Guys I'm on my phone. So I can't start a new message. Floyd took off with beth and aiden yesterday. He hasn't been back since six thirty. I need all the prayers possible
Jess, what about his job? Has he left town? Where did they sleep? Can you afford a lawyer? Is there legal aid in your community? Can you get the police involved yet? Have you called his parents, your parents?
Sadly, this is all too typical. I'm afraid you're going to have to play hardball, Jess. You're going to need the law on YOUR side, so a lawyer is at the top of the list. Floyd is a spiteful bully, but a coward. Use that to your advantage.
We're sending lots of prayers your way, and I'm sure you're going to find the kids soon. The law is on your side here. Parents can't just take off with their kids.
Once you get them back, get yourself an attorney who'll play hardball, and do whatever is necessary to make sure he can't pull this again.

It's been 24 hours since I last heard from him. He'd had them for 48 hours now. I talked to them a little while yesterday. Nothing today. Am at a lawyer right now to get a petition for custody. He is said to be ruthless.
He has been serviced with the divorce papers but the son of a gun trumped up some bogus allegations against me and has gotten an order of protection. I hope the petition for custody can over ride that one.
Just got back from the lawyer's office. He is getting my court date pulled up to an earlier date. He is setting up a mediation for me and Floyd and maybe just maybe we can end this without a huge court battle.
