It's a different vision for daytime, that's for sure. I'm glad that I had weaned myself from ABC soaps before all this happened. I feel that it's a shame, but I don't have that gut-wrenching reaction I'd have had a few years ago with this news. Erika Slezak of all people?? OMG.
They did make a good point. You get 3 new people for one veteran. I can't blame them for wanting more faces to use, unfortunately none of the soap writers today can write for characters and keep them the same for any length of time except for for that one standard trait i.e. John moody, Todd jerk, Blair slut, you see my point.
