Nikki baby sits for Summer as Phyllis has a craving for something sweet. Mention of Ashley's pregnancy. Ashley and Victor. She looks for him, wasn't in bed. He's staring at the sketch of Sabrina, changes gears the second Ashley appears. Treacly sweet yick.
Kay doesn't recognise Pearl or Murphy who visit her in hospital. She asks Murphy to fill her in on how she got there.
Everyone has a fit over the photo of Kevin and the bomb. Billy's advocating that Kevin's the psycho, urges Gil to go after him.
At Murphy's prompting, Kay begins to remember bits of her past. Enter Amber and Esther who learn that Kay has blanked out the past few months.
Jill mutters and curses that Marge is back on the front page, Jack tries to reason with her. Good Jack bit!!! Ugh Jill.
Filler with Nikki, Nick and Phyllis with Ashley baby talk.
Victor dotes on Ashley as she coos about her miracle pregnancy. Ooooh, what would happen if she lost this baby like she lost Robert and how she couldn't bear to bring that kind of pain into their lives again.
Chloe and Billy disagree about the identity off the lady in the hospital. Billy concedes it may be Kay. Along comes a very jerky and smug Cane with Lily hanging onto him. Uck.
Billy visits Kay and she recognises him immediately.
Sharp and hard hitting conversation between Jack and Phyllis at CL. It pisses off Phyllis enough that she decides to fill Jack in on Ashley's pregnancy. Poor Jack is visibly horrified.
Back to Ashley puling to Victor about how worried she is about the pregnancy. He asks her to marry him.
More Kay and Billy as she asks him about Hong Kong. Billy scowls with mistrust. As they hug, Cane lets himself into the room and is mortified to see Billy and Katherine embracing.
Gloria wants Michael to think of something to save Kevin.
Ashley asks Estella about a red egg that Sabrina had given to Victor, where is it. Estella has no idea. Estella stops and stares ominously at the sketch of Sabrina that Victor has tacked up on the wall.
Nikki, patting Zapatto, remembers the birth of Nick, with Victor, sad music, tears. Nice doggie gets a lovey-up smooch.
Lily snarks at Chloe. Chloe gives it back. YAY Chloe!! Funny Chloe!!!!!! (Gah, hating Lily.) Cane and Billy verbally spar now. Cane quizzes Kay about past events but she can't remember. Nasty, smug, smart-assy Cane.
Murphy gives up on Katherine, says she has other people to take care of her now and he doesn't fit in. Pearl and the diner owner urge him to go say goodbye.
Cane offers "Marge" money to go away and not bother them again.
Jack composes himself over the Ashley baby news but takes a pot shot at Nick about Sharon.
Jana, Daniel, Gloria fuss over Kevin's recent state of mind and the possibility that he could have planted the bomb. Gloria goes so far as to accuse Kevin, Jana turns on Gloria, accuses her of planning all of this to swoop in and save Katherine. In walks Gil with a search warrant for CL.
Ugh. Cane goes after Billy again, says Marge is a fake, HE knows. Good Billy!!! Gah. Katherine still struggles with her memory as Amber and Esther stand nearby hoping to encourage her.
More Victor and Ashley and her miracle pregnancy and what if anything were to go wrong, blah, blah. Ugh.
Estella comes to Nikki at the tack house!! She's worried about this new one, Ashley, not a warm woman, who accused her of stealing from Mr. Newman, that she doesn't like or trust Ashley and it is mutual. Estella breaks the news that Victor is going to marry this one, and so quickly too. Nikki is upset. (Ashley more or less turned down the proposal for now, said she wanted to concentrate on getting through the pregnancy.)
Phyllis and Nick arrive back home, As Nick nuzzles and coos to her about what they're going to do next, Phyllis gets a strange little self-satisfied grin on her face.
Jack breaks the disgusting news to Billy about Ashley's baby. Blah, blah, Jack kicks him out to go play daddy.
Cane, that genius, pronounces to Jill that the woman is not his grandmother and he took care of it all. Jill thanks him.
Murphy says his private goodbyes to Katherine from the diner, not in person. Meanwhile, at the hospital with Amber and Esther, Katherine realises she can't go home to her mansion because Jill does not accept her.
Another resident genius. Gil, says Kevin is the number one prime suspect.

Shelly, what do you think of an hysterical pregnancy for Ashley? I just can't wrap my head around someone HER age with her history having a real pregnancy, never mind that it's pretty silly to introduce yet another Newman spawn at this point. Something tells me that this baby doesn't really exist and that Estella's visit to Nikki today was important.
Well, they are definitely going down the blind route for Adam, which I do NOT like. I don't mind a new Mackenzie. I hope she makes Jill squirm, lol.
As for Ashley, an hysterical pregnancy isn't something contrived,; it's a pathological condition. Usually they occur in women who put so much importance in their reproductive abilities that they display all the symptoms of a real pregnancy, including hormonal whatsis, and can go as far as to give birth to a rather big "fart". There would never have been a baby at all.
Oh, I missed the hysterical part of your thread for some odd reason. I thought you meant that maybe she was intentionally faking it. What you are saying makes more sense. And would actually be interesting if they do go this route.
